So I have had the repair for about a week now and it is working fine, no more BSODs or programmes crashing thanks very much for the help. I will mark the topic solved in the hope it is fixed forever!

Well, after some digging into the last dump file you posted, there was a stack overflow in the kernel which caused the CPU to double fault.

This leads me to conclude that some part of your WIndows installation is messed up.
You can repair install following the guide here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

You will be left with all of your programs and documents, but you may have to re-install drivers. When you do reinstall drivers, don't do it off the motherboard disk. Download the latest from Asus's website.

I'm not familiar with bitdefender, but from gathering information online, some of their products do include a firewall.
In all likelihood if the BSOD happened with the antivirus being up to date, it is a bug that may have gotten past Bitdefender's devs.

If all is well, and you aren't getting any more BSODS, please don't forget to mark the thread as solved, as it helps others with similar problems quickly find the solution if they happen to stumble across this thread.
If you do get more BSODs just post back in this thread, or make a new thread and mention my username by: @ionbasa and I'll take a look!

Wrong, it isn't something that should be ignored and it wasn't the kernel's fault either. If you aren't going to use the Windows Debugger (WinDbg), please don't give advice. We'd only normally ask for memory tests if the output from the dump file shows memory allocation issues or corruption involving memory transactions. If the OP were to follow your advice they would be wasting time doing absolutely nothing that fixes the problem.

My Bitdefender is up to date now. I am currently not using Bitdefender as a firewall I am using Zonealarm. Bitdefender is my active antivirus, and I also sometimes use Adaware for scans. I know for definite that Bitdefenders firewall has nothing to do with this as the version of Bitdefender I have does not include a firewall. According to the activity log on Bitdefender nothing was actually happening at the time, the closest activity to it was 6 minutes afterwards so I have no idea what has happened, though vsserv.exe definitely is a Bitdefender process.
    Thanks for the helpful reply.

I don't think I will get CIEMs just due to that I won't be able to sell them on as easily and they may be too noise isolating.
The Shure SE425 look pretty good though apparently there is a lack in bass compared to similarily priced earphones, not much of an issue though. Discounting the Sony XBAs due to non-removeable cables.

The Fostex TE-05 are looking like the pair I am most likely to get unless something else impresses me significantly.

That's good as these are 2 IEMs that I have been looking an seem to be well recommended across the internet

Sadly I do not believe they are available in the UK, cannot find them anywhere without resorting to Ebay plus I have had bad experience with ATH earphones in the past (won't stop me from buying another set again though).

All of these brands are good, but try to not get an AsRock board, they are the worst of the good motherboard manufacturers. ASUS is my personal favourite.

Skindred it pretty good, a mix of heavy metal and sort of reggae but it is isn't that much like reggae.

Notable songs; Ninja, Nobody, Stand for something, Open Eyed, Kill the power.

If you are looking for more heavy stuff then go for their older stuff, pre Kill the power.

Sorry if this annoys you, but I could not find a thread that was truely relevant to this; I would have considered the post to be off topic as this is criticising their testing methods and the industry as a whole. I believe this to be a seperate topic with slight links in reference to why the testing is flawed.

If it was a completely fresh install, and the windows install I believe is read only (not RW) then it would be gone. The only info stored in any other component other than RAM and storage is ROM (other than cache which doesn't permanently store any info), I believe (correct me if I am wrong), so it wouldn't have stored on that, you are fine.

So yeah, new week of end of summer sales. Some good deals.
    Current flash sales:
    Sacred Citadel £0.64 ~$1
Saints Row IV £8.49~$9.99 (thanks to @virtualTune for this one)
    Special Mention:
    Gucamelee! Gold Edition £2.39 ~ $4
    Anomaly 2 £2.39 ~ $4
Lots of good things about Gucamelee, not played it myself but it looks like good fun. Again not played Anomaly 2 but have played 1, I enjoyed it, and Anomaly 2 has been praised very highly including TotalBiscuit.
    FREE GAME:
Reciever: A shooter with a difference. The gist of it is you go around collecting tapes, but the gun mechanics are different. You have to go throught the reload process as if it were a real guns; fairly interesting. I have played about 20 minutes of it and am enjoying it, certainly worth a look/download.
