Asus T100 transformer, I know it's kinda old and not powerful but it's a pretty neat device.

2nd year computer engineering student here. I have a PC and get along fine, however if I had to do it again I would get a Mac, especially if the new ones are any good.
A couple of the classes at my university require a Unix environment. For a PC user this involves dual booting or installing a buggy VM image from the professor. The mac students can do everything right from the command line. It is also incredibly easy for them to install a VM with windows on it, basically removing the downside.
If you want a PC over a mac because of different hardware specs or price then that's a no brainer. But if you're really stuck I'd take a good look at the possible courses you might take and see if they require unix, if so you would be very happy with a mac.

Raising this thread from the dead, but I updated the back-end so it is now much faster. Also did some minor UI improvements. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tassa

I've been working on an app for a while and I've finally got it into the beta stage. I would love it if you guys could provide some criticisms and suggestions for me to implement in future releases. Here's a copy of the description from the play store:

Looking for a place to meet between you and friends? TASSA has you covered. TASSA will locate restaurants, theaters, parks and more between you and up to two additional friends. Simply enter your locations and select your desired category and TASSA will provide you with options.   Here's the link to sign up for the open Beta:  https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.tassa   Thanks for any feedback you guys can provide!   P.S. It's US only for the time being due to api limitations, sorry

Honestly no, but this is more exact, and I believe simpler to use.

Yeah I certainly am focused on Asus, Lenovo, Dell, Micosoft and Apple. I just thought the HP looked like a good deal. Ideally I'd get the Surface 3 and use that to remote, but it's way to expensive for what it's worth, basically the same price as the pro minus all the features.

So, im back! Ive been far too busy to be around lately, but I have just started this little project, so thought id share it with you all!

First things first, I would like to thank

There may be more sponsors to come soon, but I will add them if/when they arrive.

    The Idea

Well, me and a rep from BitFenix UK have been chatting about a few little builds and ideas when we decided it would be nice to see a Pandora get some loving. I didn't really know what I was going to do with it, but I liked the looks of the pictures id seen of them so I thought id give one a go.

Of course I then contacted my awesome HyperX guy to see if he wanted in, and well, put it this way, 5 days later, I have the case, RAM and SSDs ready for the build!

    some product porn

So HyperX asked me what I wanted for this build, I wasn't entirely sure what I was going to do with this one, so I just opted for 2 small ssds (120gb each) 16gb of ram and some other bits that will be arriving soon from them!

Here is the first parcel I received from them:

I really am happy that HyperX are on-board again, thanks Krystian ... I have plans for these products, so keep an eye out!

Bitfenix also sent me some rather nice goodies,

From them, I have a case, PSU, Cables and LEDS... im still waiting on the LEDS but the rest arrived today!

    a lovely looking case:

    and the PSU

I will show you the cables a little later on, I again have a few things planned for them, as you know, I dont usually use aftermarket extensions, but I thought id make the exception this time!

    So... On to the modding....

oh true, In that case as much ram as you can afford.

Compiling and database is very disk heavy as the software has to access a lot of files, not to mention the software is often large and takes a while to start. An SSD is probably the biggest time saver for this kind of stuff.

I'd recommend at least 32gb ram. I can use 10 with Android studio...
Any i5 or i7 will work.
After ram ssd is the most important, get the biggest Samsung 850 you can afford.
    Gpu doesn't really matter.

So for that you want a to always be less than b or vice versa. I do have the solution but it's definitely more satisfying if you find it so I'll give you a hint. You have to modify the second for loop.

Doesn't seem to be the issue here though.

It's something to do with java not being able to accurately see if doubles are equal. It's a pretty complex issue which I don't know much about. Try removing the

First off, I did google this but all the results are dated.
I'm looking for the smallest tower case that can support a full ATX board to downsize my system for college next year. I would go MITX or MATX but its hard to find Z77 Boards. I can work with basically any drive or cooling layout. I currently have an Arc Midi R2 but it's pretty big.
    Thanks!
