  1. Thanks for the link, I'll keep an eye out for when they get back in stock but I'm not too fond of the black/red set.
  2. Changed the PSU because my brother gave me his AX1200i, probably should've have mentioned that my bad. So now I don't have to buy a PSU EDIT: changed PSU price to £0.00 and marked as purchased in PCPP, hopefully that can clear any confusion.
  3. UPDATE: I've updated the parts list as I'm now going to be using acrylic tubing (how ever I haven't decided if I'm going to bend them or use straight tubes with rotary/angled fittings). New features: Acrylic WaterCooling featuring Mayhem's Red UV coolant MSI X99A Godlike will replace Asus Rampage V upon release 2*Asus GTX 980 Ti Poseidon's will replace MSI gaming GTX 980 Ti's and will be added to the loop Tube reservoir replacing bay reservoir 280mm Rad added to loop LED Lighting focus changed to white rather than red (To highlight red features rather than blending/saturating) P.S. if anyone can find me a pedestal for the Switch 810 I would be eternally grateful.
  4. I was thinking about changing the mobo to the MSI X99A GODLIKE GAMING or the Asus Rampage V Extreme and adding it to the loop. Is there any news on the release of the Asus gtx 980 ti Poseidon card? Also I'm thinking about trying Luke's DIY Brushed Plastic method out (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1qmDFB1KTA) on my Switch 810 as I bought the glossy variant (I have no idea why ) and can't seem to find any 3m contour surface stripping pads and am thinking about using steel wool would grade 0 be fine? Is there a good way to mount cylinder/tube reservoirs in a Switch 810?
  5. Ahhhh, but yeah as I said I plan to use wired, but will probably use it wireless when watching a movie or web browsing so I can sit in my bed
  6. Why's that? sorry if I missed anything but I haven't heard a lot of bad things about MSI boards.
  7. You can use it wired (which is what I plan to do). I picked it because it fits perfectly in my hands, depending on the game i change position from palm to claw and razer mice that have a deathadder like body fit me perfectly. The macros will be useful as I play a lot of dota/other mobas (I know the keyboard has macros but I find that mouse macro's will be more useful in mobas and the keyboard ones will primarily be used for CS:GO, warthunder, etc. and some work applications). I also like the rgb led in the mouse but it'll primarily be set to red.
  8. Thanks for the link, yeah I forgot to take the cables out my bad
  9. I'll gladly do a log! I'll try to make a video too, look out for a thread soon . I'm considering maybe using acrylic tubes or nickel plated for the water cooling, any thoughts? The build may have to wait though as not all of the components are on available yet. Any name suggestions for the build? I can't really think of anything and don't really want a generic name. The theme is Black and Red and I'm partial to the word Nefarious (My steam name/IGN).
  10. Fair point, I picked it because I plan to keep it for a very long time and I never know what I'll build in the future. The main reason tbh is that it comes with a 7 year warranty (as do all AXi PSUs) and it gave me a slight sense of security knowing I'd have a lot of headroom for the future.
  11. It's going to be running between 1-3 2560x1440 ips 144hz gsync monitors and I'll primarily be using it for programming in C++/C# , animating, video editing, heavy gaming and occasional streaming.
