SickSix66 reacted to DioOmicida in Help with Java If Else conditions
Why don't you change the code to this format:
IIF(CITY1 >= CITY2 && CITY1 <= CITY3) || (CITY1 >=CITY3 && CITY1 <= CITY2)
PRINT CITY1
*CITY = TEMP

Why not? The way you have implemented Circle and Rectangle allow them to be compared.
Console.WriteLine(r1.IsLarger(c1)); prints True.

There's no need to change it right now.

your cpu is fine for a while.

It should last a while. I would personally see what broadwell brings and if you like it upgrade, if not wait for skylake.

The 3770 can you lost you a very long time (It's a very strong chip). It can most likely holdout until the generation AFTER skylake.

skylake at least,
DDR4 will be mainstream and (more) affordable

SickSix66 reacted to MeltingPoint in Which of these 4 PSU?
Personally, I'd choose the G650. Seasonic has long been the OEM of lots of quality PSUs and Jonnyguru gave this unit a 9.8/10 score.

The Super Flower one is the best though.
It's semi-passive,meaning the fan won't kick in until the PSU reaches a certain temp. The fan is also quite quiet, making around 20db of noise under pretty much full load, which makes it almost inaudible.
Full modular too.
If you want the best, take it.It comes with a price though D:

Fractal R4 has a lot of fanboys. It's getting old now I believe, but it's still a good case.
I have the CM Storm Scout 2. Not recommended. CM needs to innovate in the market more. Too many rivets, terrible watercooling support, doesn't support large CPU air coolers, terrible/non-existent dust filters. The handle is good though.

Fractal R4 out of that Bunch Hands down.
Have to checked out the pricing between a corsair 400R and 500R? I Use to have a 500R in Arctic white, looked nice and had plenty of room
also check the carbide 550 I think? the big box looking one, always tempted to try one of those...

SickSix66 reacted to Mecami in Difference between 2 CPUS
The i5 is overclockable and will be enough for gaming.
The i7 cannot be overclocked, but has HT, meaning it does have 8 Threads, which might help in certain Games a bit,
but are more important for streaming and other apps that can make use of more than 4 cores/threads.
The i7 might be slightly faster in Games, if you don't overclock. But getting a k-version implies you plan on overclocking, which means it will be better for gaming.

The i7 (presumably you would get the 4770k unlocked version so you can OC) is a superior CPU. It can help certain games perform better, as well as video and photo editing, streaming etc
However, if you are working towards a budget and having to sacrifice other components to fit in an i7 then I think the i5 is better value. For most games and tasks it will be perfectly fast and not too differnet from the i7 and the money you save can go towards a better GPU/SSD/Cooler, or whatever else you need for your PC
If you have the money spare, then an i7 is a better investment in my opinion, as you may utilize its extra performance but if its a budget constraint then i5
