So what do large corporations plan to do against decentralized tech? By nature it will always have what the majority wants and the best solution at the time for cheaper. Maybe proprietary tech? But that's already not working well

So they're just new competitors. A competitor to Uber isn't going to be less centralized than Uber, there still needs to be an entity coordinating everything.
Not really, there needs to be a development team as of now but theoretically there doesn't have to be one and governance by DAOs and subDAOs alleviates centralization. Fundamentally the best solution the majority agrees with will be implemented so I don't know how you compete with that given their current scumlord business tactics

Someone still needs to actually do it, and will want to be paid for that. That's the same as what Uber does, they develop the platform. Someone will also have to be responsible for any legal matters and that won't be free. In the end once you've fulfilled all the requirements it's just a company again.

Buy someones ad profile, use machine learning to find mental illnesses in it, sell data to drug companies? Nah seriously though I feel this information would contain hyper specifics into someones brain and could be very valuable to a health care providers. As in a way it's a looking glass into someone that they didn't have a chance to change based upon others perceptions.

It's such a surreal experience working with decentralized projects now. You can talk with the CEO 1:1 on telegram/discord, contribute to the project, and your efforts are 1:1 sorta like commission but for your own company. I truthfully think this is the way work is going to go. You can now fully autonomously be your own employer, bank, and choose how and when you work. It's a great middle finger to corporate 9-5 logic
