  1. Hi guys I have a USB-N66 that is giving me a hard time. I've tried it on four computers in my appartment (all running Windows 8.1) and I cant seem to find my 5GHz network. All the extra computers I tried it on have other wireless capabilities, they are able to find and connect to it, except when using the USB-N66 The downlodable driver from ASUS website only states that it is for windows 8, can there be a compability issue with that driver and windows 8.1. The modem/router given to me by my ISP : https://www.comhem.se/blob/43614/2/manual-netgear-cg3700-data.pdf Network info Region: EUROPEAN_UNION Channel: 40 Mode: Up to 300 mbps Security: WPA2-PSK Things I've tried Updating drivers downloaded from ASUS, website. Unistalling and reinstalling the device in device manager Checked that 5GHz is enabled in device manager Plugging it in over and over again I have not done a hard reset of the modem, partly because it's a pain to be without internet for a while when there are other people living in the same appartment and secondly because the 5ghz network is working on all other divices including phones and tablets.
  2. It is brand new and yes I have turned off the charge limitation to 50-80% but I'm still stuck at 6%
  3. Hello guys I recently purchased a Sony Vaio Fit Multi-Flip And today when trying to charge it nothing happened, it says plugged, not charging. I've tried googleing a fair bit and all the solutions I've found involve removing the battery, My notebook doesn't have a removable battery and i don't have the necessary torks bits to open it So now I'm only able to use it whilst plugged in, any thought? specs: Intel® CoreTM i7-4500U 1,8 GHz Windows 8.1 256 GB SATA Flash SSD 8 GB 1600 MT/s DDR3L-SDRAM 33,7cm LED 1920x1080
  4. Hey. Just bought the DHP-309AV PowerLine AV 500 MINI ADAPTER STARTER KIT. When I connect it to my MacBook Pro it works, but not on my PC. Specs: ASUS P8H77-I-mITX Intel Core i5 3570K 3,4Ghz Ivy Bridge MSI GeForce GTX 660 2048MB TwinFrozr III Any ideas?
  5. This fixed it, I unplugged all the usb-cables and then started the PC. It started without crashing, then I plugged the keyboard and mouse back in and tried restarting. now it boots like normal.
  6. Have cleared the CMOS twice, with no improvement, I guess I have to reinstall windows
  7. the BSOD only blinks, I don't know how to get the error message without a functional windows
  8. Hello, I recently moved my PC to my new apartment, I am now afraid that some components has been damaged during shipping, The problem: Once I've hooked everything up and tried to boot in to windows it BSOD's half way through the windows logo animation, I've tried to start in safe mode but it BSOD's anyway I've tried the windows system recovery tools that was suggested after a couple of restarts with no luck. any ideas how to solve this? 9. Hey My friend is having some problem with her computer. We re-installed Windows and when I was going to download and install the drivers for the graphic card Catalyst said something in the line of '' Can't install AMD Catalyst Mobility because of incompatible hardware/software on the computer. there is no support for your version of your graphic adapter. Contact notebook manufacturer for a update of the graphic driver'' Is the graphics card broken or can it be enabled by some voodoo magic? From GPU-Z on the laptop. 10. I tried unplugging it an plugging it in to another USB-port, still the same. No driver disc with the key board, plug and play. Tried another keyboard that I have hooked up to this machine it's the same on that on also (Logitech wireless MK300)
  11. The thing is that I've had the keyboard for a number of months and just now did this start to be a problem... It's fine for typing the "^^" emoticon, but being unable to type ´´e is annoying...
  12. If i switch to the US layout i found out that the ^ key doesn't have the same function as the regular nordic layout. With the us layout you can make single ^, but when the nordic functions as it should you have to do ^ then backspace to do a single, And I can't for the love of god find out how to do a é Also I need to get my layout working because my language has extra letters åäö, where the [ ' ; keys are.
  13. The keyboard language is set to Swedish (my native language) I have the K60 with nordic-layout
  14. Hello! I have a problem that I can't figure out what is the cause, When I'm trying to do for example an apostrophe instead of having to press the ´ key once without anything happening and then the letter say "e" and getting a é, I get ´´e, It has the same outcome trying to make the "^^" emoticon, to get the double ^^ I only press the key once.
