  1. I tried to plug in my Astro A50 to the monitor but it had no power to charge it, I will have to go and find the cable. I hope it gives power to the USB 3 as well. I thought It would use the monitors power as all I wanted to do was charging it.
  2. GameScannerService.exe must scan for games to use Stats and Heatmaps that was added to Synapse for some dumb reason. Why over complicate software that needs to be 100% accurate, I don't know...
  3. I have never had Comms installed on my current PC it has nothing to do with Comms it was added into Synapse last year or so.
  4. This is tracking what games you are launching and playing, who knows what Razer is doing with this info. Just read the log files. Synapse is now just bloatware crap that keeps having breaking bugs introduced that you can't fix by reverting to a previous version. I just want a simple software to customize my mouse and keyboard. Now I have to wait for a fix for the Mamba sensitivity bug to be fixed as it randomly makes my sensitivity slow down to a crawl. It's already been over a month now. All they care about is releasing more products and don't support their most important driver based software and keep adding features that break the core functionality of Synapse. EDIT: Synapse should be very simple and light as complexity it's ideal in drivers for gamer peripherals.
  5. I have the Astro A50 Headset and they are awesome. It has dolby surround and is important for positional audio in a game like BF4. I tried Audio Technicas ATH-AG1 Premium Gaming Closed headset and they are not fit for FPS games where you need Dolby surround. It sounded weird and the bullets and most things sounded bad. You could never pin down a location precisely without dolby or 7.1 virtual surround. I retuned the AT's. One mistake people make with the Astro A50 they use the Astro Headset option in the audio settings (very easy mistake to make) you must choose Digital Output (Optical) as only the optical cable can carry surround sound, otherwise you're just using the usb cable which isn't true dolby surround. Proper dolby will help you locate a choppers position above your head something without it just gets confused or is inaccurate.
  6. You can do it in Windows using the Bios updater for 4th Gen. No need to update the file name. I have used the Flash back method but the new way is easier and designed for 4th Gen Intel processors.
