  1. I use a GTX 680 mainly for Youtube and Reddit. I get 120 fps in almost any game I play, and I still might upgrade to a 780 soon. No idea why other than it's a 780.
  2. Always gotta get a shot in about EA! Nice one :D
  3. Dell XPS 13 ultrabook. Damn its awful. It was supposed to have a 1080p screen, while it only has a 720p (I think they now actually have 1080p screens) mine was also supposed to have a 3537u, but it only has a 3517u. Also, the clickpad is just absolutely painful to use. You'll always misclick and the cursor will jump around randomly.. also the keyboard is impossible to type on. It just feels really awkward to use and I can never type correctly. Dell support is the worst I've ever used. I told them that the screen is supposed to be 1080p, and its only 720p.. he told me in a very thick Indian accent that theres a slider to adjust it.. Really? Sorry for bad grammar and spelling. I'm on my phone. Ill come back later and fix it up, and add some more details. If you're looking at an XPS 13 because its cheaper than a Zenbook, forget about it and buy the Zenbook. I regret spending $1300 on an awful laptop to save a little over the Zenbook every time I use it..
  4. Nice! My specs were: 3960x OC'd 4.6ghz, 32gb G-Skill RipjawZ 2133mhz and 2 Evga GTX 680 SC Signature 2's in SLI. That was at it's most powerful a few weeks ago. It's since changed to: 3770k 4.6ghz 16gb 2133mhz ram (Grabbed two sticks out of it for my Prodigy build) Took out a 680 also for the prodigy, so 1 680.
  5. I've consulted the Greybeards and I do believe they can be removed.
  6. Well, now that I checked I believe they are. The screws in the corners look like they will remove the handles. I'll try to remove them and see what they do in a few.
  7. Actually.. The screws in the back have me considering again. I'll check my Prodigy in a second.
  8. They're not removable. The screws are to remove the optical drive bay. I'm sure you could remove the handles with a bit of modding, but that's beyond my knowledge.
  9. Go with the H100i and use some Noctua NF-F12 fans. Powerful silence ;)
  10. Well, to each his own I guess. That setup looks pretty sweet. Mind giving some specs?
  11. Thanks, I'll be sure to check that out!
  12. Thanks! My CPU idle is around 35c and I haven't checked the graphics card yet, but I'd imagine around 35-40c idle. I've yet to load Prime95 up and really test it's stability, but that's definitely on the list. I'm still using the stock thermal paste on the H100i, so when I get the chance, I'll probably replace that with my MX-4 paste. Might be able to drop a degree or two there.
  13. I'm sure someone here knows. I'm gonna go get some sleep (7 AM here and I haven't even slept yet :( ) I'll check in the morning and hope someone has replied about it. Everything truly is exceptionally quiet except the power supply.. If I can silence that, then we're golden.
  14. I don't think I'm that good :P I just saw a post where someone else with a Prodigy used a different fan in the PSU. I'm really thinking about doing that, since the PSU is fairly loud compared to everything else. I'd probably use either one of my lovely Noctua NF-P12's or a spare Coolermaster fan.. Is that safe? It'd involve me taking the entire thing apart, but if I could make the rig completely silent.. That'd be worth it. Just want someone to verify that it's safe (And possible? I've seen some motherboards where the fans are soldered in) to do.
