Ah, I might just get it. I don't play new titles on release very often, only exceptions are BLTPS, and Witcher 3, GTA 5 when they finally come out. My wallet is itching haha.

I live in a nice suburb off of Dayton, Ohio, the police here are very nice folks. One even offered me a ride home when I was walking my dog and it was ~20 degrees. All forms of media and internet only focuses on the corrupt officers, not the good ones. That's why people think all police are corrupt and not doing their job.

I have a samsung 840 evo 120GB. I just did a clean install of Win 7 64bit. I download samsung magician and set up the SSD again. I optimized the OS for maximum performance, put in in RAPID mode, and optimized performance. Then I restarted my PC and test the drive speed. This showed up: http://imgur.com/OPZpVK8 Is this normal? Or is Samsung Magician really screwed up?

Found Linus in a review of GTX 560ti a while ago. Honestly I didn't pay much attention to who the reviewer was and the reviewer's channel. Then down the road I saw some of his reviews on my 1st gaming rig's hardware in the recommended section of youtube. So I checked it out and I started to like his reviews. Now all I do is watch Linus for reviews and sometimes just for the entertainment. I think Linus' sense of humor and his unbiased reviews are what I really enjoy about him.

I will settle with low-medium settings with no AA until I'm able to afford NVIDIA 8xx cards. Is the ASUS one particular better or has more functions than the U28D590D?

So my original plan was to get the ASUS ROG SWIFT, but with the price tag, I really do not think it justifies the performance. Plus I think 1440p is already "obsolete" when I really though about it. There is 2160p already, why bother with a 1440p monitor that's more expensive than 2160p? On top of that, I can just get another better 2160p monitor when down the road when they start to become better, more mainstream, and a lot better suited for gaming. I can always use the one I have as a secondary monitor. So I'm have narrowed down to these two monitors, they both seem pretty similar. If anyone owns any of the two monitors, a pro and con list would be appreciated, thanks!

Yeah I'm expecting NVIDIA to drop prices with AMD cards competing on the market. I honestly have never bought an AMD GPU before, maybe I might pick one up if maxwell is not as great as it sounds.

Yeah, it's dumb, old, and stupid... On to the topic, I really hope it's the R300 series. Then maybe NVIDIA would hit AMD back with the release 800 series and price on both sides will go down...hopefully

Wow, can't wait till it hits the stores in North America. 500EUR=670$. I don't get why ASUS charges 800$ for a 1440p TN panel at 144Hz but the Acer 2160p TN Panel at 60Hz only costs roughly 670$.
