  1. I just realised something funny. The Windows installer forces the installer to reconvert the disk to GPT when selecting the disk. I did not realised that after installing. So this still migh be the reason why it is doing this. I'm gonna need to check on how to force the installer to use MBR. -_-
  2. Yeah, I'm not going to put it in the oven I will try it later today. I'll keep you posted
  3. @FakeKGB @Nathanpete @igormp An update for you guys. I was able to do the intallation process of Windows on an other drive that I formated to MBR. I went as far as the desktop. But along the way, I had to unplug the displays and replug it because I was loosing picture. After that, as soon as I installed the Nvidia driver, everything went black and I could not boot the computer again. Even the BIOS was not showing, the lights on the motherboard seemed to be stuck. I power it down and plug the 2070s and it boot just fine into the new Windows installation. I guess at this point this mean this GPU is just dead if it is blocking the BIOS to boot. Thanks again for your help.
  4. @Nathanpete I did try that in the past before buying the 2070s when troubleshooting the 780ti. I will try FakeKGB idea. It makes sense.
  5. @FakeKGBI do have a GPT partition for my Windows installation. I could try a new machine with MBR.
  6. Hello everyone, I have an old 780 TI that I replaced a year or more ago by a 2070 Super because the 780 Ti seems to have stopped working. But after a while enjoying the 2070S, I still want to figure out what is going on with the 780 Ti. I know it's not a flashy card, it's old and everything, but you know I am curious.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I am thinking about it because I can post and boot into the bios with the card. I can see the Windows loader, but as soon as the loader is done, everything is black, the machine is not responsive and I need to force the shutdown. The weird thing is that, when I changed the 2070s for the 780ti in the mobo to test, the bios told me that the VGA device is not recognize or not supported and CSM was enabled. I can get into the Windows 10 "Recovery" menu if that helps. For now I assume it is a dead GPU, but if any of you have an idea, known issues or more ways to "debug" it. I am all ears. Hek, I can even send it to you if it is something you like to try. (You need to have a good reputation here for me to do that though). It could also be a stupid video idea for LTT to try to fix it I raise my virtual hat to any of you who read this. Have a great day.
  7. I found my issue. It's been weeks I've bee trying to fix this and it was something stupid. I had to use an other port and redirect it to the port 22 instead of 9022 Gitlab Docker usually listen for ssh.
  8. Hello everyone, I have a little issue I can't figure out. I am in no way an expert in networking. My issue is that I want to access my Gitlab server from anywhere both in https and ssh for git operations. I did figure out how to configure https to work but I can't make ssh work in any way. I can access the server and use git normally in https only. I run Unraid for my server with a Gitlab docker instance and NginxProxyManager to do the reverse proxy. My configuration is like this My router: Port 22, 80 and 443 are open and forwarded to my main server IP on an other port for each of them. The NginxProxyManager listen to the 3 ports forwarded by the router I have my own domain and have a cname for gitlab.mydomain.com and Gitlab listen to this url https://gitlab.mydomain.com. Of course it is just an example domain name. I tried to forward the port 22 directly to my gitlab server as well as the nginx proxy docker instance and nothing works. What ever I try, the gitlab server return either not authorized or ask for git password. (I have a ssh key configured) For reference, everything worked before I put my Gitlab server behind my domain and a reverse proxy. In local on a specific IP the ssh access worked like a charm. I know I might not be clear in every way, but I don't know what to do to fix the issue. Thanks
  9. I know I am really late, but I want to make an update. The new Ram Kit works great. It seams it was a compatibility issue between the ram and the motherboard. Thanks to you all for the help you provided.
  10. I'm supposed to receive a new RAM kit this week. Since I first though it was a RAM issue. But I started to doubt when both stick works separately or together if I go in BIOS first and wait a few seconds. Asus support just told me to clear the CMOS, but that didn't help. I tried to disable CSM, but on every boot the BIOS re-enable it. I don't know if this can cause the issue. I also don't have any XMP profiles showing up in the BIOS. Thanks for your help. I will get you updated. Finger crossed it is just a bad memory kit not a bad motherboard.
  11. I can see your config under your posts, did you have to change any settings to make everything work? I have the same CPU as you and the z390-A
  12. They are a Kit. There is the link in the top of my post.
  13. I've downloaded Bluescreenview and it doesn't find any minidump files (the folder is empty). I tried to disable CSM but on boot the BIOS reset it to enabled. Changing Boot compatibility to Windows UEFI or not doesn't change anything. The SSD I have is this one https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147689 After reading everything it is compatible with the motherboard. Still doesn't explain why only one memory stick work but not both of them
