  1. Go for a 990FX motherboard if you're looking into overclocking, they have a better power delivery system and usually more stability.
  2. Crossfire, it's dont through the PCI-E slot on the motherboard for the R9 290/x and R9 285
  3. I wish I had the money to do something like this... I'd do one for my 2K posts..
  4. DxTory and OBS are the only two i think that can record in proper 21:9.
  5. A lot of company's use Samsung as a OEM, same for LG. At a pro level neither are on par with someone like Dell, but different prices as well.
  6. Save some money and go 1440P. Or go for higher refresh rate 1080P. Both monitors are 60Hz screens. The samsung actually has a model the is HDMI and DVI and another that is HDMI and VGA.
  7. number 2 is a much, much faster PC as a whole
  8. This set isn't good at all, the GPU is fine and if a get a Q6600 or Q9650 then it will last but this CPU can not OC to save it's life, It has such a low multi, im lucky to get above 2.5GHz lol. right now the FSB is 1333, bus speed is 333 and the multi is 7... soooo yeah. It shows its age in the games I play. BF3 im lucky to get 40FPS at ultra, BF4 30ish FPS last time I played. I actually get better FPS in DayZ then both of those games, I average right around 45-60 with max settings, max AA, max Post, and everything.
  9. You're* I KNOW SOMETHING
  10. Im looking into getting one as we speak, thanks
  11. as mentioned, not really bothered by this, still a hell of a lot faster than a HDD
  12. I've heard around that older motherboards and CPU's might not support newer SSD's, been wanting to upgrade to a SSD for a while but not sure if it will actually work on my system, I have a core2quad Q8200 and a LGA 775 EVGA 790I SLI mobo. Just wanting to know if it will actually work. And yes. I know "You'll bottleneck somewhere" this doesn't matter all to much to me right now, I'm already running a 7870 so im just getting parts when I have the money. next in line will be a SSD, then CPU, mobo, and RAM.
  13. Try unparking your CPU http://www.coderbag.com/programming-c/disable-cpu-core-parking-utility then see if it gets better. Also run the game in high priority.
  14. seems fine, when OC'ed those 760K's are pretty damn good for rendering and such
  15. CPU cores get parked in windows, usually when opening a browser and such. It's to save power. http://www.coderbag.com/programming-c/disable-cpu-core-parking-utility
  16. It shouldn't be this bad, I know a lot of people who running dual 280x and some with dual 290's that still see next to no bottlenecking. Hell, I run Bf4 at 40FPS on ultra with a 7870 and a core 2 quad
  17. are you running BF4 in high priority, also, is your CPU cores unparked? I got a good FPS increase in games when I unparked my cores.
  18. Titan Z is worthless for its price.. Its not drives because that would effect a lot of cards, not just a single series really. You run the same driver on most all Nvidia Geforce cards.
  19. My grandfather used to OC Pentiums 4 and had a coldbox.. lol
  20. I wish they where going through repairs.. lol. They aren't doing anything the public knows, it's over populating of the servers. Theres only two server locations in the US, one near New York and one in Seattle Washington.
  21. You're US east Coast, huh? The servers in the US have been going down in quality ever since CS has been seeing a boom in players.
  22. on windows 8, but the problem was csgo's config file it self changing things, not windows it seems.
