  1. Also you can try the direct update off of the microsoft website, that's what I always used since it was a lot faster than USB 2.0
  2. My current keyboard is a TKL from cooler master and it's leaning off the side of my desk and is on my mouse pad a bit, Maybe if it's a compact design one I'll take more consideration Ignore mess
  3. I've been looking around on Ebay and everywhere is saying "Cherry MX Style switch" I already have a keyboard with generic switches and I cannot stand the feeling of them in all honesty.
  4. Looking for a Cherry MX Brown or Red 60% keyboard for less than $70USD (I know this is limiting) I don't have a lot of keyboard space and prioritize mouse space over keyboard (Low sensitivity CSGO player) willing to buy from almost anywhere that ships to the US.
  5. How are you trying to install windows 10? I had the e5450 on an ASUS board and had little to no problems with windows 10 and had no microcodes falshed.
  6. none come to my mind in all honesty, im not that well versed in case fans. I usually just sick with what comes with my PC and if I need something more i'll just go get a OEM Coolermaster fan off ebay
  7. With how GPU's are right now I cannot give you any recommendations besides to keep your eyes locked on Craigslist or Ebay for 780 TI's or 970's/980's
  8. But that's the game OP wants to play as well as stream and the 8350 just does not have the power to do that reliably in that title as well as many titles coming out. EDIT: Actually, Hardware Unboxed just released a video talking about the 8350 vs in i7 2600K and just going off that alone I can't fully recommend the 8350 for gaming and streaming. I'd actually recommend either an i7 3770K and a z77 motherboard or for a lot cheaper a xeon x3450 and a p55 motherboard from AliExpress for $100USD and overclock the snot out of either of them and they'll both do very well in gaming and streaming and both are capable of being turned into a streaming rig later on if OP would like to go that route
  9. But now take that and streaming at the same time. Here is a benchmark of what is for all good reasons just an overclocked 8350 playing a few games and struggling to hit 60fps in pubg
  10. I would say no. Outside of something like CSGO or a lighter game, the FX System really can't handle gaming and streaming that much anymore.
  11. the Ryzen 1600 (non-X) is probably the best bang for the buck new CPU on the market and can handle most streaming sessions with little to no problem.
  12. Ebay has a DOA money back guarantee if you use paypal. I got my whole system from searching through ebay. The only thing that came in dead was ram, Ebay refunded me fully and the seller sent me more ram.
  13. You can look on the used market. If you plan on streaming a game like PUBG a lot of fast cores is nice. I'd honestly recommend something like a xeon e5 1660 or if you can find an x58 motherboard that can overclock a w3670 xeon. Both will out do anything on AM3 and can usually be found cheaper. Also, if you can up your budget an i7 5820K on the used market is around $200 USD but the x99 motherboards and ram are going to be a bit pricy. If you don't want to hunt for an x79 motherboard and don't want to overclock I do highly recommend the 1660. you can find pretty cheap C602 motherboards for pretty cheap
  14. If you are similar with the Sennheiser sound and like it then by all means get the cs's I personally don't like the way Sennheisers feel on my head and the sound has always been kinda meh for me, at least with the 6xx's and the jubilee's that came on masdrop recently
  15. I think now most people kind of agree, the m50x's aren't nearly as good for the money as the M40x's who are more neutral and a fair bit cheaper
  16. NVX XPT 100's you can find for under $100 usually. They're Brainwavez HM5's so they have really really good pads imo. Closed back, easy to drive, but they look like helicopter headsets to me. Edit: Please forgive all my editing, i am very tired
  17. If gaming is number one I'd look at finding a 3570k or 4690k, it'll probably save you some money and preform damn near the same in most games
  18. The ram right now is at 837mhz just because of the FSB speed. Trying to keep the ram at as close to the default as possible.
  19. If you're just gaming then the 4770 would be a solid cpu, but if you want to do more maybe later down the ling then I like the idea of more cores so you have room for stuff like video editing or streaming
  20. If you want x79 yeah they'll be pricy but you can find older server stuff with the lga 2011 socket for really cheap.
  21. So would you say spending the extra bit for 1066 over 800 ram is worth it? I know my cpu should be able to reach a lot higher than it is right now. Most of what I'm seeing from my stepping is 3.9 to 4.1GHz while mine is BSOD on 3.6 sometimes. I do have mismatch ram as well and I think that might be why games like minecraft is spitting out errors when a lot of mods are loaded and it starts taxing the ram more.
  22. It's really just upto looking around, ebay is the first place I'd go to. I'm in the US and have a e5 2670 on the way I bought for $75, just waiting on a good x79 motherboard to pop up that's just extremely expensive. But for an 8 core 16 thread CPU with a good boost clock its all I need.
  23. Well with the 775 stuff you can't just overstock the CPU, the ram gets hit too and I know some chip brands overstock a lot better than others. I'm just wondering if the tale of Samsung is better for this chipset and a lot of people on here are really knowledgeable on the 775 platform
