  1. It's down to what you want at the end of the day, I doubt you'll notice a difference. If you want to get them now, then go get the M50Xs. If you want to wait and instead get the DT770s, then go get them. Note that the M50Xs are much more portable that the 770s, as they fold up, so if it's portability you're after then there's another tick for the Technicas.
  2. Either the ATH-M40X or their larger brother the M50Xs. Both are under £90 at this point in time on Amazon, and are accurate and slightly bass-heavy in my opinion (I own a pair), which is perfect for any electronic music, whether it be Trap as you've suggested or other genres. Something else like the Sennheiser HD 380 Pros wouldn't go amiss either. People have commented that the bass is tight as well as the highs, even though they are older than both the Audio-Technica models.
  3. Yep, unless you've got a 5.1 setup or above, stereo it is.
  4. Fortunately, there's a large choice of Gaming Laptops with 980Ms on places like Newegg or TigerDirect, they seem to be quite common. You'll find that the ASUS ROG G751 that Linus reviewed earlier this year retails for around $1,560 on Newegg, where you get a 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD, as well as the sought after 980M. If you're willing to spend that little bit more you can get an upgraded model of the G751 with more RAM (24GBs rather than 16GBs) and a doubled capacity on the SSD side; that retails for around $1860 on Newegg, however it is refurbished. In short, go for the ones that have been reviewed positively and are around your price budget, like the G751 that both me and 007agentHP have suggested.
  5. It's really down to whether he wants it with OS, or without. I'm using de.pcpartpicker as a reference, and it seems that Windows 10 can be fairly expensive in mainland Europe. If without, you can get a fairly respectable system, with an AMD FX-6300 powering the main part of the system and either a GTX 950 or Radeon 380 getting dat FPS. PartPicker Link
  6. Keep it at 2.1. Subwoofers don't really count in terms of stereo or surround audio, as the bass output is mono anyway. The number that you should worry about it the number of satellites, and in your case (2), it's not more than stereo. The two other main configurations (5.1/7.1) do count as surround audio, as the speaker positions are infront and behind rather than just infront.
  7. The Wileyfox does look insane, CyanogenMod is a plus also. Thanks guys.
  8. I'd like a new phone in the £200-300 range. The main requirements for me are 1. Large Screen 2. No Bloatware (preferably stock) 3. Good Camera 4. Good clean looks The original 1+ fits this, or at least I think it does. The 1+2 also does, but are there any other ones that fit these criterion? Obviously, cheaper is better, but I'm willing to pay more for a better phone as a whole. Thanks.
  9. Are you saying that the RAM preview stops before the end of the clip? Because usually the length of RAM preview is dependent on how long the AE project is.
  10. http://www.gsmarena.com/ - In my opinion the best place that states Mobile specs. You can also compare between phones.
  11. First off, 700W is plenty enough; you're currently drawing around 250W, since the 6300 draws 100W, and the 750ti draws around 60W (and the MB drawing 70ish) so you'll be fine with any GPU you get as long as it's not something stupid like a R9 295X2, so you can most likely keep the PSU. Since you've got a black edition 6300, it's most likely that it'll still perform well, but you could upgrade to a 4690K in the future, since that's in a sweet spot for price-performance. Despite that, it's still most likely that It won't bottleneck if you've got a mid-range AMD or nVIDIA card like you do (750ti), and probably won't even if you go up to 970 range - after all, it is a 6 core processor. So; GPU choices - there's no real point going crossfire or SLI, with this - due to you paying too much for what you're getting in the end. So, you could get a R9 280X - as that'll work well with the 6300, as well as not being too power hungry like the 290X. You could even push it with a 970 or 285, or even potentially a 290.
  12. The masterpiece that was Simcity. The only thing that was good about that was the fact that Origin allow you to return it within 14 days.
  13. I'm using a pair of Sennheiser HD202s, they're practically dirt cheap (£20/$30), and are well made. The bass is quite heavy, like most low-end headphones, but the sound is high quality, but not audiophile, like most Sennheiser products. Also, the cable is crazily long, so they're quite useful if your ports are quite far away.
  14. I've recently decided that I need a new phone, due the Lumia 520 being absolutely terrible - and I've come to two possible next phones; 2015 Moto E or 2014 Moto G. The Moto E is newer, and is around £30/$45 cheaper than the Moto G, as well as it being pre-loaded with Lollipop, however; the Moto G is quite a lot faster, has LED Flash, has a better screen and I think looks better aesthetically. The new great thing about the Moto E is that it has LTE, but the carrier that I'm on doesn't support LTE, so I don't need that. So which one should I choose to buy, keep in mind that I'm a bit of a power user, so I'll use my phone for IT diagnostics, and just general work, and since Linus stated in his recent video that the Moto E is quite slow, I think that in my opinion the Moto G might be better, despite it's greater price. Anyway, tell me what you think - Thanks.
  15. I've found my OS X experience to be a load less difficult than Linus'. Having only recently switched to Mac, I've quickly learnt all the things I need to do in finder, like making it so I have a root directory, and also finding the shortcut so I can find the Mac equivalent of program files, which is Application Support. Keyboard Shortcuts weren't hard to master, F13, F14 and F15 replace PrtScr, Scroll Lock and Pause/Break. However, some things are really stupid like # being Alt + 3, yet there is a whole load other characters you'd either have to copy and paste or go into character map in Windows to get in mac using the Alt Modifier. Something that really bugs me though is that scrolling is the other way round. You scroll up to go down, like on an iDevice. Scrolling is fine other than that, I use a 3rd Party crappy mouse and it works just fine, like it would on Windows.
  16. Really liking the case, has a industrial look that's aesthetically pleasing.
  17. That's actually quite a good idea too, never thought of using two 4GB DIMMs instead of one 8GB.
  18. That seems like a better choice, I didn't notice that the Motherboard was on a different chipset.
  19. This is the first build I've thought seriously about. I'd like the budget of the pc to stay below £500 ($800), and preferably for it to stay on the nVidia/intel side of things, if you guys can suggest anything that would make it cheaper than it is now, that'd be great. I'd like this computer to be a good all rounder, as I'll be using this for mild gaming and quite a lot of office work, school stuff etc. Link - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/6YWY23 Cheers Guys.

If this case had the quality that fractal's cases have, I'd buy that case. I really like the style, yet the 'cheapness' lets it down a bit.
  21. I personally think that PCI sound cards aren't needed since I've been running of a 3.5mm jack for ages. If you want your headset to have better sound, or any audio peripherals for that matter, get a DAC/AMP, but you can only really hear the difference if you've got really high end audio equipment, like studio monitors etc.
  22. So I should just be able to put the old HDD in, connect up SATA cables, and copy stuff over? Cause it'll just be a storage device and not a boot device.
  23. I want to transfer my hard drive in my current computer, into my new computer in the future. This computer's hard drive is the OS drive, meaning it has Windows 7 on it. The new PC has Win 8 on it. Is there a way to transfer most files from my old hard drive, onto the new one, without the two OSes interfering? I want to take off games such as FSX and a few steam games, because due to my poor internet connection, I don't want to have to re-download addons and steam games. FSX is 25gb+ , so I don't want to have to transfer it via a USB either. Thanks, Nath.
  24. I'd go for the EVGA 780, because I prefer the ACX cooler than the Twin Frozr, but they're basically identical other than the colours.
