The Sun just published one of the worst articles I have ever read.

It was something about "trolls". It was full of stupid crap such as "could you be sitting next to a troll?" or "as many as one million britons could be trolling".

At one point they said something about a "psychologist and trolling expert". Oh, the absurdity.

Trolling is a waste of time but misguiding people by saying that "cyberbullying" (which I don't acknowledge) and trolling are the same thing just to sell newspapers is beyond retarded.

I have completely lost faith in my school's ability to maintain anything or even work anything.
I have sent innumerous complaints to the IT department in regards to severe amounts of dust in cases, filters, broken or breaking laptops, broken and low quality peripherals, deleting my stuff selectively, fucking fire safety and being able to access the school staff network.
No replies. They even admit to sweeping shit under the rug and so there's still a lot of shit that needs sorting. Even the teachers ire at how badly handled things are. I have seen teachers trying to connect eHDDs requiring super speed USB ports into normal USB ports, teachers nearly blowing the speakers by not connecting cables properly and by blasting out the speakers whenever there's a problem and other such things.
Some of the things that the teachers do is beyond annoying. What does the school spend money on as opposed to fixing the already fucked up systems? Buying replacements of the exact same shitty Intel core 2 duo laptops that are bulky as fuck. Buying more pentium 4/Athlon 64x desktops that were designed for XP, slightly modified for Vista and made to run Windows 7 - Pirated Windows 7 Enterprise rather and renewing licenses for software that the computers aren't built to run such as various CAD apps and Adobe video editing tools.
It's not fucking funny. It really isn't. The worst part is that I could scream all day til my face is cunting purple about the severity of some of their fuck ups and it would register as "let's masturbate over the pentium 4s that we love using so much - Good thing we spent so little on the PCs so we can spend more on lube because I'm circumcised so can't fap dry".
And our government wants to do such things as teach programming at a younger age yet companies like Civica still exist to provide IT systems to schools.

I do have sympathy for kiddo because that shit's expensive and plus it should have seemed fairly obvious to his mom that stuff like that should not go into the bin. Furthermore, she should at least ask if he wants/needs something thrown away.

Mine has been shared a few times, but okay, I will retell...
Twas my birthday, I got that shiny looking Razer mouse I wanted... Or at least I thought I wanted. It worked brilliantly for the first two months - Then cometh the beginning of the end... First, the cursor would become unable to move in a straight line. Then, Synapse would crash and lastly, in the middle of a round in Battlefield 3, the Naga Hex gave up and died. I had it RMA'd and I have since then vowed that if it were to break again I would stop buying Razer products.

Dude got a reaction from J.b091 in Why do people hate Apple so much?
Because Apple are assholes. They fail to actually innovate. All they actually do is rename stuff that's already been invented and give them stupid names such as the "Time Machine" or "Time Capsule" or whatever the fuck which is just a glorified external HDD.
They also ask so much for so little. £800 or more for a cheaply constructed, under-powered phone with software that essentially rips off everything Android has done in 2012. As a matter of fact, all the iPhone 6 is, is a Nexus 4 just with Apple branding and colour scheme and whatnot.
As for their tablets, they've always been crap. iPad v1 had no camera and was expensive for what it was, iPad 2 was just expensive and crashed a lot while also having a rather poor display, iPad 3 was just an upgrade of the iPad 2's display with added overheating and worse battery life and I stopped caring from there.
Their iPod range was completely redundant with exception to their iPod classic which had a sufficient amount of storage. Why would you want to buy a device that does what an iPhone or other smartphone does without the capacity to call people? Because you already have a fucking phone, but your phone does what the iPod does so why is it needed?
Their Macs are infamous. Laptop level hardware on their desktops for extortionate and Damn near comical prices. Alongside their lack of upgradeability, their terrible peripherals and their software issues they really were and still are thousand dollar Facebook machines. Their Macbook airs are just mom laptops. Useless for everything but Facebook and watching dumb shit on YouTube. Their Macbook Pros are just more powerful and fatter Macbook airs but are still unsuitable for much else but word processing and browsing.
Worst of all their crimes are their poor value in comparison to their other competitors. Paying more for less and being less durable and functional at the same time. Their products are best suited to hipsters, moms and people who like buying flashy shit with half eating bullocks smeared on it.

If you lift weights, you will burn fat faster. As you are a beginner with little lifting experience, stick to whole-body workouts about 3 - 4 times a week with cycling at the end.

The key to being able to naturally motivate yourself is by being able to convince yourself that working out is fun by making it fun. You can also get yourself a gym partner for your early days just to make sure you go. Make sure you watch some fitness YouTubers too, because their content tends to motivate me a lot to want to work out.

We invest  heavily into our staff/business operations because I have a particular set of "end game" goals that MIGHT be different from other content creators.

Making great content that gets a ton of views doesn't take a huge team. Trying to build a sustainable business operation that (if all goes according to plan) could be capable of running seamlessly without yourself someday does.

There is a ton of merit to both approaches. Neither is "correct".

And to be clear, this is not an announcement or even a HINT that I'm going anywhere anytime soon. It's just the kind of thing where if I were to get hit by a bus tomorrow I would want my family to inherit a strong, sustainable business, and I would want all of my staff to still have jobs.

heres somethings i have learnt recently.
The athlean-x youtube channel is really good. From this channel I learnt some pretty neat things but the most useful knowledge was the time spent on a set is more important than number of reps or weight. The guy says aim for more than 45 seconds, and it works for me. there are some great videos that explain should and back pain. by far this is the more scientific or medically correct channel on youtube.

Dude got a reaction from MrDynamicMan in Is a typical dude, a gamer? (mainstream question)
Nearly all of my friends are at least casual gamers, they love FIFA and Call of Duty and to be fair, who doesn't? So for me, the average guy is a gamer. That being said, I'm surrounded by gamers, so it would seem like most guys are gamers, however, that isn't always true. Go to any gym and you'll find that, at most, half of them play games. They're usually too busy either working out or with their jobs or take other interests, like I do.

Dude got a reaction from AniJan in The Emoji Movie thoughts
The problem is that this is exactly why Sony's film division are going under hard. They're overspending on movies nobody wants to see. They've probably spent at least $150 million on the production alone, they'll spend an extra 50% promoting this thing and then, they'll wonder why it tanked so hard.

The only reason why this isn't anywhere near as horrible as it could have been is that they just ripped off The LEGO Movie, which means they took the base of a decent movie. However, if you look at the four writers writing this, it doesn't look promising. You have the guy who wrote the narration for the US version of March of the Penguins and the guy who wrote Nacho Libre and another guy who wrote a couple of episodes for some dead sitcoms. In other words, you're bound to have a shitty movie.

I'm used to be a person who loath every sorts of exercise. ( except for group activities like playing basketball etc )

After a 4 year hiatus I had because of sickness, now I genuinely enjoy exercising. Doesn't really matter whether it is outdoor / inside the gym.
I get this fresh feeling after a 30 minutes workout.
Jogging is my favourite exercise, you just put on your ear piece and keep running at a same pace until you are tired. Your mind is totally relaxed. And you got the enjoy the scenery along the road.

However I did developed a runners knee... that sucks a lot. I am still, recovering from it. I weight 95kg, 6 feet tall. I guess it is my weight that caused me this issue.
Although doctor said that tall people are likely to have runner's knee.
I just learned swimming last winter, and I am still pretty terrible at it. But I won't drawn for sure...

I think when it comes to exercise consistency is the key. Not how much you push yourself in day 1 or day 2.
And you gotta enjoy it, let it brings you joy. Then you will have a healthy body and a healthy mind.
Of course if I can lose some weight and have a better body image it would be cool. And I did see some result, but body building isnt the reason I exercise.
I couldn't care less about that.

This literally just happened to me...

So I am called to the dining room and am asked how to "photocopy" an image from an eBay listing on to an email. I say that's not what photocopying is and you should just copy the URL onto an email. She asks me how to do that (regardless of her doing it multiple times in the past) so I copy the URL for her. Later on, I have to paste the URL for her because she doesn't know how to paste (sarcasm). She is unsure of whether it will work so she asks to send the email with the URL to herself. Reluctantly I do so but when she finds out the link isn't clickable she gets angry and says "that's not how I want it, it's broken". I explain that the recipient can still just copy and paste the link themselves.

Seriously, I don't get it. Why do people attempt to challenge people who know their shit on whether they do when they themselves are one hundred percent fucking clueless? It's infuriating and pointless. Do they want to be posted on this thread? Gah!
