  1. Ok so it looks like the Razer one uses a USB transceiver for the wireless, and that's going to be different than the other headphones you plugged straight in, so it seems one device is not the problem, and we can likely move on the that panel entirely. I'm looking for sultions, but try this in the meantime, really thorwing shit at it right now- Try going into your power settings, edit your plan, advanced, and put the minimum CPU state to 100% see what that does (and change it back when your'e done obviously) I've actually had a problem related to this at one point. Fairly low chance to solve it, but see what happens. edit Also after this, hard restart your computer- like full restart, regular shutdown isn't actually a full reset anymore unless you disabled fast starrtup so choose restart if you haven't done this already. Might as well.
  2. That option just depends on the device I think. I thought exclusive control might be it when I read that it was affected by what app is open but your were more talking about it going as long as sound was playing, I misread. Hmm. I just listened to the attachment and neither of my suggestions would cause a sound like that anyway- more of like an occasional crackle. Is this on all devices or some of them? If you're not sure, try running audio through one of your screens if you can- uses an entirely different audio device. Also what exact device is this playing the audio?
  3. Try try unchecking "allow applications to take exclusive control" for the device. Also check that no enhancements are enabled on them, some windows 10 updates recently caused those to be enabled for a couple of my devices and caused similar problems.

    @Syntaxvgm LMFAO. eBay thinks I contacted buyer…

I don't have the right to complain about their service? I'm the customer, fuck them. I'll complain because that's what you do when you're not satisfied. None of those have a chance to sell the types of stuff I want to sell, ebay is the only real option that provides the volume of people looking for these niche things, so I will continue being a customer. I sell a lot of stuff on other platforms, but ebay is the best for some things. Just because you're a customer of something doesn't mean you lose the right to complain about the service! Complaining about problems might, I don't know, make them want to address the problems. Not giving them business is not the only option. I want to use ebay, I want them to make things better because they are the best service. They can start by actually following their own terms when they make this automated detection system, would reduce the volume of support calls greatly anyway. Say netflix just stops working right for a huge poriton of customers, just wont load stuff. There's probably reasons you want to keep being a customer I assume (dont have them) because their library is what you want. You say "netflix, what the fuck fix your shit" on social media and hope they're pressured to, I don't know, fix their shit. Actually it would be a lot like gmail banning people as if they are spammers for receiving spam. A lot of people pay for gsuite, it's great and for out of the box no setup required solutions it's the best. You don't just abandon it, you complain. I mean when am I supposed to complain, when I'm forced to buy something? When there's no competition and no way to stop being a customer of like utility services or no way to get the service elsewhere like ISPs- nothing for them to lose so why even listen to complaints then. My electric bill for almost no usage now costs more than a few years ago when my house had all incandescent bulbs and ran central air at like 70 degrees 24/7 and did light crypto mining. The fees alone are more than my actual bill used to be when I switched to energy efficient everything- and I pay double for the same usage as a year and a half ago. They raised per kwh rates in January by 31% and added more fees, and now they're going to raise it even more in june. Everyone's pissed and I've even heard random strangers bring this up, but nothing will stop it. They don't have to listen to complaints. At least I have natural gas for the winter, some have to do electric heat I feel for them. Gas provider here is surprisingly good. A complaint is "do this because I want to keep being a customer" and if there's no threat of losing the customer, they don't care. It really seems to me like complaints for voluntary services are the way to go.

Ya know, there really isn't a whole ton of info…

I'd say SG as well, a lot of early 3d stuff was pretty much all specialized hardware. A lot is RISC based stuff, and very expensive. A lot a lot of early n64 games were developed on these things as well. I remember the mario menu being like a copy of one of the reality engine demos

FUCKING TOLD IT HOW IT IS @dizmo https://linustechtips.com/main/profile/89336-aluminiumtech/?status=230570&type=status literally nothing you can do. You can ignore the message, do whatever you want. They literally act against their own terms. Ive got a lot of stuff I have saved up I need to ebay, and I just...ugh.. I dont want to deal with it anymore. But it's like the only option.

Politics: the weak man's escape from hard labor.

a career in politics needs you to be already successful (beyond middle class successful) to get your start in most cases, it's slow and not profitable at first.

What's with Europeans assuming that every Ameri…

@ARikozuM most people just drive a hand me down as their first car, or a sub 1500$ car from craigslist, and take what they can get. Also, and to @DrMacintosh as well, the last generation or two really doesn't seem to care about cars all that much. Like they're just tools to get places to anyone under 30 it seems, and they care a lot more about efficiency and, for some reason, carputers, though that's case by case. Most people know as long as it has bluetooth or a 3.5mm plug that's all they need. I think it has a lot to do with the younger crowd not having the kind of disposable income their parents did. The one exception to that seems to be military. I think it's law that you have to take your signing bonus and blow it on a lifted truck or a mustang with an automatic This is all a midwesterner's perspective though, could vary by region.

You know what's great about leaving your job ?…

only about half of the states in the US have that as far as I'm aware, and it usually covers only that year, not any days which rolled over. In my state they must, IF they don't have a policy limiting vacation pay, which my company does. "Use it or lose it" is also not prohibited in my state, only about half my days rollover in my company's policy, but I've had them give me exemptions for this.

You know what's great about leaving your job ?…

so the comp you for unused days? Not a lot of places do that, or some have a limit. Like I think I have at least 20 days but I think I only get paid for 5 if I quit.

unless the company comps you for vacation pay idk what you're talking about.
  14. This sounds terrible. Just terrible.
  15. a decent ups from apc might be a great choice as well. I do have a box full of really old apc surge protectors, those things are BUILT. Even tell me if there's a ground fault, no need to use a tester ( a real problem in my house) thing I love about wide single row protectors is they stand up on their own even with large bricks.

Microsoft has surprised me quite a lot recently…

I'm on board with chrome edge if it's easy to port plugins from like chrome. I have no idea what the plan is there, never tried it either, so forgive me if we already know what the plugin system will be.

  23. Theres a commercial for I think a mouse that didn't need a dongle, like 2011-2012 or so maybe, and it's a bunch of people in a meeting looking for a dongle. I cannot find it anywhere, anyone know what product it was or anything about it. I remember the line "I think dewey has a dongle"
