After a windows update, Microsoft thought it would be funny to set EVERY RECORDING DEVICE on 2 of my pcs to "telephone quality"

Fuck you assholes I lost 12 hours of work because of this. Sounded like I was in a tube, and I couldn't figure out why. Thought it was a cord or my mixer, switched to a usb at2020. Then moved pcs and it still happened. Hell on one it set voicemeter and it's virtual interface to telephone quality!
