The fact that by default windows hibernates these days even on shutdown is a pain in my fucking ass when the computer cant boot and I need to read the drive elsewhere. Cannot do it on windows, have to use linux and force mount/RO
BTW the only windows workaround I know to this is using powershell to force ownership of everything on the drive then forcing read/write permissions. Which fucks it up sometimes, but hey I'm too lazy to make a linux live boot
