Please quote me when you upload your pictures as I would like to see them. I have been following his work for a couple of years and I don't think I have ever seen a single negative review about his cables, all I see is positive reviews.

You do realize your last statment contradicts your second paragraph right?Isn't the title accurate? Did the ISP not bill the 83 year old man for those charges overthe course of two months?
Also people are upset over this. People are also just generally angry towards ISPs for the reasons you mentioned.

I would wait until Asus releases there next iteration of the Swift monitors. Of which I think there will be IPS/higher res variants.

Another thing to consider is whether or not your computer can actually make use of the higher refresh rate in games.

Well that's something new I learned. I just assumed that they were all GTG and that it meant something, and that since 144hz displays means 1/144 per second per frame, or 6.94ms per frame, and 5ms in transition, it would mean that a pixel spends 72% of the time in transition when the images are moving fast making for a blurry picture and backlight strobing basically impossible. Thanks. I'll change accordingly.

I have both the 6gv2 with blacks and quickfire tk with browns (white leds) the v2 is great really heavy but the quickfire tk is awesome the browns in it in my opninon make typing and gaming easier as you can feel the actuation and being a ten keyless for me makes it better than the v2 unless you need all them buttons haha

MRSMIFFY reacted to SkilledRebuilds in why do people use ssd's
No matter if you have an SSD or a HDD. Windows WILL bog down over time with installs/uninstalls for programs leaving trace files, as do installed programs create entries all over, bits n bobs everywhere making some/most mechanical drives used for OS enrage a lot of power users after some time, because HDD response to actions you do, take longer to initiate/complete <- this is why an SSD matters to me.

Regardless of some systems being absolute beasts,
When WIndows DOES bog down over time.......not having an SSD and taking minutes to Boot, plus also taking their sweet time loading programs as fast as you'd like.
SSD response times and random reads and writes.. night and day.

Extended dealings of that 'loading' mouse cursor, the spinning circle... No thanks, I like it relatively instant, and an SSD does that.

Mechanical HDD's have been a huge bottleneck for years, your only as fast as your slowest part, when high frequency (2.8Ghz+) Dualcores Quadcores and Fast Memory became standardized, HDD's were a huge bottleneck to getting the MOST out of your system, having to use 3xMech's in Raid 0 gave some people hope, but nowhere near as much joy as their first SSD.

Tidbits - I have two 256GB Samsung 840Pro's, my first SSD was the OCZ Agility3 (still used today in my mums PC) I have also tried the 840's in Raid0 (Joining the space was the reasons, not the speed)
Games had little to no benefit, neither did Windows (actually longer to boot by loading raid functions at bios startup) and programs don't load much if at all faster.

MRSMIFFY reacted to Priller in AMD FX-6300 OC
AMD released a PDF of "recommended" voltages for air/water and extreme.

Realistically 1.45 seems to be about the limit for air cooling but depends on case flow. 1.5V is about the limit for most water coolers. Obviously this can go either way due to the amount of variables.

    The 63X0 overclock pretty well.

70C is too high for that use case and I would try to reseat the cooler after removing and reapplying new thermal paste.

MRSMIFFY reacted to ForsakenLive in 3 pin versus 4 pin fans
3 pins gets controlled through voltage, most fans are rated for 12V (volts), to control them you have to undervolt them. Your motherboard doesn't do that, it just powers it at 12V, dedicated fan controllers can do it.
4 pin always run at full speed (12V), but they get turned off and on constantly by the motherboard using a PWM signal, so you can make them run at the RPM you want, they get a very small amount of power and they get the kick off to start, after that they get turned off, when they begin spinning low again they receive another kick.
Basically to control a fan with the mobo you need 4 pin.

That sounds like something that Load Line Calibration would do.  Do you have it on Auto in your bios?  If so, set it to something in the middle range that your motherboard allows (each motherboard is different).
