It's a glass brick, there are only so many ways you can make a glass brick look. It's about as far from both iPhone and Xperia phone as you can get while maintaining glass build.

I keep telling my Mum to use the Documents Folder and Pictures Folder.  SHE NEVER F***ING DOES!!!

That is seriously, surprising.  How can someone do that?  It clearly says thats an 1150 motherboard and the processor is 1155.  But RAM? How?  How the hell can you mess that up!?!

Also, once I was walking around in Noel Leeming helping friends pick a new computer.  And I'm on CONSTANT DEFENSE!  You cannot walk into that store as a tech person and not get into a mild argument with staff defending that an i7 isn't double the i5.
So, this guy comes and offers us help, and he starts going on about how HP makes the best computers because they are super solid and use high quality parts.  So then before my friend buys this, I go and say "Well, I'll build you a computer instead?"  And before my friend can even say anything this employee starts ranting about how building a computer is so dangerous. So then this conversation started:
    Guy: Whats RAM Then!?!!
    Me: Random Access Memory.
Guy: Wrong!  Its Ready Appliance Memory!
Me: Actually, it connects to RAM slots and connects via a frontside bus to the CPU so the computer can store temporary, always accessed data in RAM temporarily for fast access speeds because DDR3 memory runs at, at least 1333mhz.
Guy: That was just a test.  What does HP stand for?!??
    Me: Horrible Products

Then he walked away in anger after the manager came and apologized to us for his loud yelling and we went off.

    This is basically a conversation that I had with my friend;

Me: Why are you using internet explorer? (IE 6)
    Him: Because it is awsome!
Me: Why do you like it?
    Him:Because it is fast!
Me: You do realize that firefox is a lot better in every way, right?
Him: No, firefox sucks I used it and it was slow. (keep in mind this is the guy who has a computer but no internet anywhere but the library...)
Me: I don't know how it was slow for you but it is definitely faster for almost everybody else.

After that the conversation pretty much ended, and he started to talk to another person trying to tell him that a core 2 duo is faster than an i7, but that is different story. (Saying that core 2 duo, meant that it had 2 CPUs or something.)

Control panel -> uninstall programs. Should be just as simple as that.

Deftlizard got a reaction from D4RK in Hard drive not detected and making noise. Can I recover
About a month ago my notebook was stepped on and the screen broke. I recently replaced the screen but when I turned it on it took almost an hour to boot windows. Now my notebooks hard drive is making a whirring and clicking sound and know that it the read head clicks but I can hear it from about a foot away and the notebook is not detecting it. I had ubuntu boot disc and it detects it but when I try to benchmark it gives me an error saying that the operation failed. What I really want to know is can the data be recovered. The drive looks fine on the outside but I don't know what the inside looks like. I am willing to take apart the drive if I have to. I should also mention that the warranty has expired.
