Don't really agree with him since digital games are still $60 at launch. They don't get cheaper usually until a few months afterwards on a good sale.
 
By the way, he does have a point though. The average price of a game in 1995 was $50, accounting for inflation and if games had no actual price increase, they should be costing $71.78 today. The fact that they are selling for $60 means that they are effectively selling them for less than they use to.

If I was still in highschool or university, I would choose the platform where most of my friends played, which for me was pc. Now I just buy them all because I can. 

It's just like prison - find the biggest, toughest guy there and kick his ass. Then make some wine in the toilets.

They are not yet owned by google, and it's not even the same system that youtube uses. 
 
This was eventually going to happen whether or not they were bought out. The fault lies with the music industry.

Some of Carey's interpretation of the way our business operates may come from the perspective of a smaller reviewer. 
 
Once you reach a certain scale unless you're bashing the product in a way that is factually inaccurate, you're not going to get cut off from the review sample list just for giving an honest review - at least not by a company with any integrity.
 
Perfect example: I WRECKED the BRIX with the GTX 760 yet Gigabyte was the first to send me my NDA and confirm samples for an important upcoming launch. There's no hard feelings, and we'll continue to work together. Gigabyte is also doing their first sponsorship/advertising ever with us. Negative reviews and sponsorships cannot affect the way we work with companies and vice versa because otherwise we'd have no credibility and then we'd be no good to them anyway. They understand that. And the ones that don't, we simply won't work with. We've got 100 other things to do.

Pretty disappointed in a lot of the comments in here. I'm open about what goes on over here, and I really thought you guys knew, appreciated and respected that.
 
When I say I don't get paid for something, it means I didn't get paid for it. I like SHIELD because I like it. NVIDIA hasn't done a single sponsorship with us since the very beginning and it was very small. I've done more business with AMD than NVIDIA... several times more.
 
As for Corsair, if I don't like it, I'll say something. You think they paid for me to call their product "corporate"? They're a gaming company:

It's what MMO's have but now EA does it everyone goes fully retard because they can't do anything but hate on EA without having good arguments.

either it is for warranty purposes or they are using laptop hardware. Alienware is not going to be the only one that is not upgradeable. I'm not sure why people are getting so annoyed about this. If you are going to upgrade one anyway then you will most likely have the skill to build your own steam box anyway.

You only have to buy the base game and then mists of pandaria now, the previous expansions are included in the first purchase.
 
While the population is decreasing, it is doing so at a fairly slow pace, it's going to be large game for quite awhile still. 

Guess I am alone in voting for mouse. But it depends on the genre (rts I'd say keyboard first, fps mouse first). 

The misuse of loose for lose annoys me. 

70 games on steam which is most but not all of my pc collection. Plus some more from consoles.
