  1. This might be it, I cleaned my PCIE slot yesterday and today everything is running smooth, thanks for your help.
  2. Hey everyone, Here are my specifications : GTX 760 (Not OCed) i5 4690k (Not OCed) 8 gigs of RAM MSI B85-G43 Gaming motherboard So I have a really weird trouble going on, lately I cleaned up my case from dust (including the graphics card, ram, etc) and I ran a stress test to see if everything was doing well and it was. The day after that I turned my PC on and I began playing GTA V and then I got the "Display driver has stopped working" error, so I thought well maybe it's a driver issue, I downloaded display driver uninstaller and ran it then I downloaded fresh drivers and installed them, but the problem persisted, so I thought maybe if have plugged something badly after the dust clean up so I opened my case and double checked everything and then I started GTA V again and this time I was able to play normally for the whole day. The day after that I turn my PC on again and begin playing World of Warcraft this time, and I got a black screen so I rebooted my PC and I made a GPU stress test with Furmark, but the temperatures were normal (about 85 °C) I was able to play all day long but then the day after that the same problem happened again just after turning my PC on and starting a game and then after a reboot I can play for the whole day. Basically each time I start my PC, after it was turned off for a long period of time, and I play a game I get a blackscreen. I just made a stress test after it happened again today, you can see it here. TL;DR : I get a Blackscreen each time I start my PC after a long period and play a game, I don't have any OCs, my temps are normal. What could the problem possibly be ? Thanks for your futur answers.
  3. Hello everyone, I just made an error on the BIOS and reset everything to default, so I'm wondering if it's okay that way or if there's anything I need to change ? Here's my rig : - Motherboard : B85-G43 Gaming - GPU : Geforce GTX 760 - CPU : Intel i5 4690k - RAM : 8 Gigs Thank you for your futur answers.
  4. Alright thank you for your answers I think I'll go with Valkyrie Lenneth option since Double double channel increases performances and I don't think I'll need anymore memory slot because 16 Gigs is all I'll need for a long time, I'll certainly finish up changing my motherboard before my RAMs
  5. ... And I'd like to have 16 Gigs of RAM, should I buy a memory kit with 4x 4 Gigs or a memory kit with 2x 8 Gigs ? Thanks for your futur answers.
  6. Yes that's what I'm talking about I'd like to see if anyone already had this issue or if anyone have an idea in how to solve it J'ai déjà essayé de changer la couleur des menus rien n'y fait Sinon pour le screenshot je n'ai rien cliqué du tout a par bouton droit sur une des icones de mon menu
  7. Hello everyone, I've just reinstalled Windows 8.1 after going through Windows 10 and getting the worst experience of my life, anyway... After freshly installing Windows 8.1 I noticed that the explorer menu (the menu that you see when you right click on one of the bottom menu icons) looks weird, here's what it looks like : (Don't mind the french text by the way) So I've said maybe after installing all the drivers and windows updates this issue should be solved but I just did so and nothing changed, I also tried installing Classic Shell but it's still the same, any idea how I could solve this ? Thanks for your futur answers.
  8. Oh great I ignored that, thank you for the tip ! Yeah but it doesn't give any document about the benchmark it just runs it and shows the FPS in real time
  9. Hey everyone, It's all in the title, I'm looking for a benchmark software but not one that have benchmark tests already integrated with it, I want to benchmark my GTA V. Thanks for your futur answers.
  10. If by fresh install you mean fresh Windows install then no, if you mean reset my BIOS configuration then yes. Alright so basically all the answers suggest to reinstall windows so that's what I'm going to do as soon as Windows 10 is available, thank you for your answers guys.
  11. That's really all I did, yesterday I used to run the G3220 and today I'm running the 4690k I just tried and still have the same problem.
  12. Is there really no other solution ? Nope I haven't tried, I will try this and let you know.
  13. Hello everyone, So basically it's all in the title, yesterday and since 1 year I used to run the exact same rig with a Pentium G3220 and I used to have my PC startup very fast (I'm using an SSD), I used to run Chrome for instance and have it running as soon as I get inside the windows session, today I just bought a new i5 4690k and it's no longer possible, at least for some programs like CPU-Z, chrome can be ran as soon as the session opens up, CPU-Z needs like 1 minute until it can start, I haven't tried with other programs let me now if you want me to test with any other. Also I am using an USB Wifi antenna that doesn't show up until CPU-Z begins to work, besides, the whole Network tab of Windows 8 doesn't seem to work until the pc runs normally. Any idea why this is occuring ? Thank you for your futur answer. My rig : Intel i5 4690k 4 Gigs of RAM 760 GTX ... ask me about anything else.
  14. Hey everyone, It's all in the title, is it still up to date with the new CPU heavy AAA titles like GTA V ? Thank you for your futur answers.
