  1. Assetto Corsa is pretty nice racing simulator if you're looking for a bit more realism.
  2. ...What are you actually using this computer for...? Only folding? No gaming?
  3. Sell your Titan Z. Get a 6700k with a motherboard and a 980ti. Just saying bro.
  4. That's not Intel selling it...? It's Computer Brain...
  5. Try the Lagarith Loseless Codec. It's also possible your hard drives aren't fast enough...?
  6. Understood, but that's just a MASSIVE waste of money. It makes no logical sense to spend money on a laptop with an expresscard slot that costs as much as a used car.Just get a fancy adapter or something, save the money
  7. I HAVE SOLVED IT. To every g3258 user out there, if you get this error, unplug your graphics card and switch your RAM slots.
  8. Trying this now. Disabled one core and downclocked to 1.6 Ghz. Update: This didn't work, anything else I should try?
  9. Hey guys, I'm completely stumped on this one. I've been trying to a fresh Windows 10 install on my g3258 home server and I can't. The Windows logo and wheel appears on screen, then fades to an infinite, blank, black screen. I read on numerous tech forums about this issue, and from what I saw it was due to my system's CPU being a g3258. So I went ahead and downloaded Windows 8.1 to a usb stick and attempted to install. And guess what? Same results. Same logo and wheel, same black screen. Anybody have any idea what's going on? I've tried numerous things like unplugging extra hard drives, clearing CMOS, switching RAM slots, etc. Still no Windows setup. I've installed Windows 8.1 AND Windows 10 on this machine before, I have no idea why it isn't working now. Anyone have any ideas to why this is happening?
  10. Hey all, I just watched Linus' Skylake Overclocking Guide over on Vessel and he started talking about benchmarking. He stated that in newer versions of Prime95 your system gets hit "really hard" to the point that you could destroy components in your system from doing so. I want to believe Linus on this, I just want to know, how is this actually possible? Like what causes the parts to be destroyed?
  11. Sorry for the late reply. Anyway, it was looping for a good 5 minutes, which is why I turned it off. Is there any way you can finish the update?
  12. It's funny, I didn't even know you could actually brick motherboards, I always thought removing CMOS always fixed it. Guess I was wrong. Lesson learned: don't click on BIOS updates without actually knowing what the hell is going to happen.
  13. Fuck. Well I hated the motherboard anyway, and luckily H81 boards are only like $50
  14. No, nothing will even turn on at this point.
