MoonSpot got a reaction from Randika in What are definitive edition games?
Its marketing. Sometimes they include all DLC, sometimes some DLC. Sometimes they're remastered, other times they are not.
Definitive, legendary, ultimate, etc. Same shit, different wordiness.
"Caveat emptor" applies, particularly with games.

If this is made by the HP I'm thinking of, I can see why it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Also, warranty calls probably take an hour to get to a person.

That took him 6 days to code. The 7th was for debugging, but who even does that? Let the suckers beta-test!

The correct way to read the OP and article includes playing Ennio Morricone - L'estasi dell'Oro (The ecstasy of gold -The good, the bad & the ugly) in the background; preferably while on horseback trotting into the sunset.

Great job by battleck who cares if it isn't technically legal he just saved a bunch of people from having to pay ransom to criminals. For most people who don't have important files they shouldn't pay the ransom and encourage the hackers. I know there's no files on my computer worth 0.09 bitcoins unless the price of bitcoins crash dramatically.

I'm wishing more and more that it should be illegal to sell out to foreign entities like China or really any other country. It was astounding when we started trading with China after Tienanmen square, and it's astounding so many silicon valley companies are ignoring China's anti-democracy antics because they pay well today. I guess it's not really that surprising, money speaks above all

MoonSpot reacted to JZStudios in Venezuela? Sanctioned. Adobe users? Banned! Refunds? Denied. - Adobe bans Venezuelan users to comply with US sanctions, no refunds
Adobe should know you never pull out.
+1 to "Another good example of why the service model sucks." I'd rather pay the $1000 for the products I need and be done with it and actually own it. Or, seeing as how they've become so complacent lately, just find a cheaper alternative like Affinity, which a bunch of people have freely switched to and say it has a bunch of features they've been asking for years from Adobe. $50 and you own it for life, including updates. At this point pretty much everything reads and writes the Adobe formats too, so compatibility isn't even an issue. They have alternatives for Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Pissed. Peeved... that's all I got off the top of my head.
provoked could work.
Yeah, along with the nation-wide diet! How could this happen?

Love Big Wreck. They're definitely on my "greatest bands of all time" list.

Had the song since 99/2k, not sure where I picked it up (alternative addiction, napster, mIRC or a dozen other places). Never could find out where to buy it, till now; 'googling' for it back then was fruitless. Apparently was released on "Edgefest 99" of all damn things. I was actually shocked/pissed, until I saw the other tracks on the compilation and realized I own the original discs for 90% of the contributing artists in it(edgefest'99) and was like... "Oh; I might have opted not to buy it back then anyways" ... so... yea.

You'll note that it was the Canadian government and Canadian tax payers that paid for and built the internet backbone which was gifted to bell for BS reasons and they've done nothing but gouge for the favour. Plus almost all of the last mile work was done laying down TV cable and telephone wires already, and the 30 year interim of billing for both phone/cable and internet has more than covered cost, yet they've also got additional infrastructure incentives to boot.
Funny how quickly things happen when protectionism or more accurately, racketeering, is involved. CRTC makes a declaration, everyone on 3rd party networks is 12hrs away from getting their 1st bill to reflect those passed on savings, and...BLAMO. Full reverse steam in less then a week, undoing several years of effort and litigation at the wave of a hand(probably for election campaign contributions).
