Might be beating a dead horse here but.. Better multi-core CPU usage, refined UI, additional settings, and new security features.

But why couldn't that all just be a Windows 10 update is beyond me, it should have been.

I'd use Fan Control but I can't get it to detect/work with the Lian Li fans 😞

I wish SignalRGB worked with all of my RGB stuff but it has problems with my AIO and RAM

It varies, the components have a lot of influence here.
My PC has slightly older hardware and with a single GTX770 it used to draw around 450W from the plug when the CPU and GPU were at 100% simultaneously.
When I added my second 770, that number rose to 670-690W. At that point I ditched my 650W PSU in favor of an 850W one (another BeQuiet, of course).
So MY computer needs more than 650W, yours may need less.

Should be about the same or less power draw than my cards, and with a 4790K you probably won't have a problem with your PSU. Same one I'm using lol.

Figured I'd chime in with my own experiences here.
I ran an i7-2600K with dual GTX 780 Ti's in SLI (overclocked but not overvolted) and under gaming load it consistently overloaded my power supply within a minute or two, a 660W SeaSonic platinum (certainly no slouch). Jury-rigging another 450W unit to power the second GPU got rid of all the problems. With an 860W power supply everything runs fine, although with an i7-3930K (130W TDP processor) and everything overclocked I can still overload even that power supply with a high gaming load. So yeah, I'd say 850W-900W is the bare minimum I'd recommend if you're using dual 250W+ TDP cards.

I'm not surprised it's  that low on a 4790K but yea.. most people go WAY over the needs (as long as it's good quality) 600 - 700 is plenty to keep the stress and heat low.

For reference, this is drawn from the wall so actual output from PSU to components is a little lower
    On a i7 4930k @ 4.7 with 16GB 2133, and 2 480 GB Kingston HyperX

    Methodology:
"For this test we hooked up our power supply to a UPM power meter that will log the power consumption of the whole system twice every second. In order to stress the GPU as much as possible we used 15 minutes of Unigine Valley running on a loop while letting the card sit at a stable Windows desktop for 15 minutes to determine the peak idle power consumption.
Please note that after extensive testing, we have found that simply plugging in a power meter to a wall outlet or UPS will NOT give you accurate power consumption numbers due to slight changes in the input voltage. Thus we use a Tripp-Lite 1800W line conditioner between the 120V outlet and the power meter. "

People always overestimate GPU power draw, I got a 900W PSU with the thinking of going dual R9 290s later on, and now I realise I'd be able to do the same with the upcoming Fury XT from AMD.

Haha but for older games or straight games that don't use a launcher like steam, Uplay, etc.. once it's inside the HDD you can search for the game's application (.exe) file and create a shortcut icon to your desktop for example or other locations to where you want to have all your games collected.

For your main stuff like photos movies keep it on the HDD in a separate folder or location of your choice. For things like steam and games, you will need to set the default download location to a folder inside of the HDD instead of the SSD. Other ways of saving space are remapping documents folders and other things windows natively defaults to the C\: drive(SSD) over into the HDD.

Yes because using the SSD automatically sets your HDD on fire rendering you unable to keep using it.

A lot fo people run their games off their HDD and have their system boot from the SSD. You just need to remap the location of your games and large storage files to the HDD instead of the SDD and your set, only real difference between and SSD for gaming and HDD is load times.

You can boot from your SSD and have Steam(and any other program) installed on your HDD. For Steam sine I assume you already have it installed on your HDD, just launch steam.exe. For installing applications, install them to your HDD(probably D drive).

Okay I'm going to make the assumption you're running something like steam. This is steam specific, but I'd assume that some of the others work the same.

Stick steam on your boot drive. Tell it to download and install the game. When it asks where to install it, direct it to the folder on your old hard drive, rinse and repeat.
Steam always checks to see which files it needs to download before it does so. When it sees a full install, it shrugs it's shoulder's goes "okay" and moves on.

DSL is your best option TBH. I know it sucks i'm getting 0.17mb/s down and pay nearly 60$ a month.

If there is a company that shoots a wireless signal to your house from elevators or something I'd look into that (clear sight line required).

personally I have the option to have dail-up or what I have...dail up isn't really an option tbh. The last place i looked at won't service me wirelessly because my phone line is a competing service (haven't had a connection to this phone line in years, but hey it comes to the driveway so that's their rational.)

    FINAL SOLUTION THAT WORKS!!
Going to post here so if anyone having the same issue can figure this out.
You NEED a ps/2 keyboard with a num pad.
Run windows normally and press Shift-Alt-Num lock
This will enable Number pad mouse control.
Install your drivers using this and your problem is fixed!

+1 for this. Always a better idea to get a Z97 for Refresh chips then Z87. @Termater

However keep in mind it does not support SLI. Cheapest Z97 board that will do SLI is this one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97sslikraitedition
