  1. I'm thinking of buying huwawei p8 on contract for 200€, but I'm concerned about smoe things so I've come here to find an answer. So let's get started! First of all I'd like actaully users of this phone to answer, so please if you don't own the phone please state so in the post, so I can evaluate your opionion correctly. I hope you understand So I've read a couple of rewiews of the phone and I can't help but not see that they all mention that it sometimes takes a screenhot even when you press the screen with a thumb. They have also adressed a concern that the screen in too bright in total darkness and thus not comfotable to use in bed at night with lights off. Also is there anything else I should be aware of?
  2. I'll probably buy a 250GB SSD and use move the HDD inside the laptop to my computer for storage for movies.
  3. Someone is selling used HP probook 6550b for 180€. Is that a good deal? What should I ask him when buying it, and what should I be careful about? I know that battery degrades over time, but I can't really do too much about that, and it's not too big of a problem since I'll be using this laptop at my university and I'll almost always be able to charge it there.
  4. Ok I'll buy a better thermal paste and reapply it. Atm I have a 2€ one, because that's the only one they had in the store...
  5. I have E3 1231v3 and I'm using Arctic cooling freezer 13. My room teperature is 26°C and I have a sidepanel off to keep my case cool since I don't have any vents installed... Anyway are these tempratures fine? I ran the test for 2 min with all cores on 100% load.
  6. http://www.computeruniverse.net/en/products/90247598/cherry-g80-3000-lscde-2-click-usb-ps-2.asp you can try getting this one with a different layout at your local store
  7. Okay. I'll go with the r4 then since r5 costs much more, and you all pretty much recommended r4. Thanks for all the answers.
  8. I'm buying from http://www.computeruniverse.net/en/ nzxt source 340 costs 81€ there, so it's a bit cheaper. I'll check it out. Define S costs 92€, but I'd like to have the option to add an optical drive
  9. Hi! I was thinking of buying a new pc case that wouldn't cost too much and I was loking somewhere around 60€ budget. That's when I found fractal's core 3500 for 68€ which looked pretty nice... But after a while I also found out that define r4 costs only 15€ (83€) more than corer 3500 and now I'm wondering if it's worth the money. I care about silence, but it's not essential, I'm not water-cooling or doing anything really extreme with my PC. Essentially I'm looking for a sturdy case with nice esthetics and enough space to be able to fiddle around inside the case if the need arises. So that's where the question comes: Is design r4 still relevant? Should I cheap out for the stripped down version core 3500? Should I consider a newer model? Should I consider a different company altogether? If you have anything to add I'd be glad to hear your opinion
  10. yeah I'll buy 2 of those, so that will make it 8GB. The thing is the additional postage costs are bigger than the money I save if I buy outside the country so I can't really order from part picker. Everything else is fine then? Thanks for all the answers.
  11. I can't afford that at the moment. I guess I'll bear with medium settings for a while until I can upgrade it
  12. Is this one fine? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148539&cm_re=Crucial_PC3-12800-_-20-148-537-_-Product I know it's not 1866Mhz, but it's much cheaper than any 1866Mhz they have avaliable in their shop.
  13. I'll be gaming a bit, and I've also enrolled on a miltimedia production university so I suspect I'll need to render some stuff.
  14. I'm replacing my CPU, RAM and motherboard and I just wanna check if everything is compatible and balanced since this is my first time building a PC (up untill now I've only replaced some parts). Motherboard: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z97MG43.html#hero-overview RAM: http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/ct102464bf160bx2 CPU: http://ark.intel.com/products/80910/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1231-v3-8M-Cache-3_40-GHz Stuff that I already have: - a large enough PC case - seasonic s12 II PSU - gtx 660 ti - a SSD and a HDD I went with a z97 motherboard because apparently you can still raise Xeon's FSB, even though the multiplier is locked so I figured I might as well get a mild OC for 10€ more.
