  1. So i am getting an corsair hydro 100i and i don't know where i should mount it, BitWit made a video a couple years back explaining that front mounting is better for temps if you have a "open" style GPU. Typically i would follow this advice but i was wondering if i could get advice from any of you guys? Thanks
  2. haha the UKs internet is shit ngl, i can't wait to get virgin internet in our area haha, yeah i have changed network card and still got the same problem so idk
  3. Naaaaa, i am in UK, so i am on EU servers mate
  4. Context: So first of all, i started up CS:GO, started playing a game and my ping went to 1.2k and my packet loss was at 50% at worst. To add to that, every time i tabbed out my ping goes to 100ish, then i tab back in and it goes up to 1k+. So i scraped CS:GO and started playing GTA V, and my ping goes straight up when i join a server and my internet disconnects from my computer. In game lobbies my ping is perfect and fine, then as soon as i join some sort of server i get really high ping and my internet disconnects me??? The same happens with Overwatch and Rocket League as well, I've had this problem before but no where near as bad as today. I am using 5GHz Wi-Fi. Attempted Solutions: I have even brought a whole new Wireless Network USB and it hasn't fixed it at all, i have the same problems. Yes, i have turned it off and on again with new install drivers... I was wondering if this was some sort of conflict? Could anyone help me try and fix this problem? Thanks Liam
  5. I would agree with you because it makes sense. But this still happens even when it's only me at home with my Phones wifi turned off, it happens in literally every situation
  6. okay so i am no expert on networking or anything like that so forgive me if i can't explain things properly. So, for the past 3 or so months i have had a lot of issues with ping spikes. For example i would go into a game of CS/Overwatch and find my ping spiking up to around 80 from about 20. This also causes a lagg spikes and everything stops for half a second. I tried re-installing my network drivers and i got the same results again and again. Then today i was playing Overwatch and i wasn't getting ping spikes but i could feel the ping lagg and occasionally i would move back a couple paces. In another instance, my ping shot to 5000+ for a good minute. Sometimes it goes to 1000. I use 5GHz Wi-Fi frequency. Wireless Network Adapter : http://amzn.to/2or0aEO Router :http://amzn.to/2n26uTn My brother had the same problem but he managed to fix it for himself, i tried the same things but with no result. We are both on the same Wi-Fi and i also have no access to the router homepage login... We tried to change some of the settings on there but it fixed it for him and not for me... what do i do .-.
  7. Also my brother uses Wifi a lot but idk man
  8. tl:dr Ping and lagg spikes across entire pc help plox For the past month i have noticed that i started getting ping spikes and lagg spikes across my entire computer. By this i mean, my ping will shoot up to like 130ms and it will lagg until the ping shoots back down instantly, i mainly notice it in CSGO, Overwatch and Rocket League. Also, something else that happens is, when the spike happens, Discord skype or Teamspeak will lagg at the same time as this. As you can imagine, when playing competitive games, this isn't nice.... Has anyone else had this issue, if so please help?! My Wi-Fi Card : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HC01KMS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I use 5Ghz, not 2.4Ghz
