  1. I'm not really looking for a custom loop or an ultra wide display. Thanks for the suggestion about the RAM tho! I wasn't sure exactly how much I needed and might've went overboard with 32 GB.
  2. Thanks for taking the time to look it over @Genwyn. I really appreciate the suggestions and will definitely consider it. I think I will upgrade the PSU to their Titanium line. I liked the CM AIO because of the included RGB Fans and RGB pump that has the "cap" that can be rotated, for aesthetic reasons of course. I could totally switch to the Corsair AIO, but it looks like no RGB Fans (included at least). I wonder if I could swap those out for RGB fans.
  3. 1. Budget & Location My budget is around $4k. I'm in the US. 2. Aim I'm going to be primarily gaming (playing anything from Cube World to NMS, Star Citizen, etc.) so I want great frames, even at 2k. I would like 4k but I don't really think its necessary for this build and from what I've read and watched, 2k gaming should be just fine. I play the occasional competitive FPS so I'm looking for great response times and no screen tearing. I like RGB and I've received some feedback on Reddit that the mismatch of RGB components/brands means I'll end up with non-synced RGB and/or multiple different pieces of software to control the LEDs. 3. Monitors Just 1. See build plan below. 4. Peripherals I will need to build keyboard and mouse but I can get those on my own. 5. Why are you upgrading? First build since 2007. Build plan below! Let me know what you think. Thank you! 4. Nick!! This is literally the last component needed in my build. Asus x99 sick mobo with almost 2 TB in ssd also managing my home server. it'd be a great add!
  5. Hey Guys, I'm looking for a VESA wall mount for my Asus VS248 24" monitor. I'm looking for three dimensional movement including extending and retracting arms. I've came across this and it seems to suit my needs but can get a little pricey and I'm not sure what the best options to choose are. Thanks (PS, how do I format the link so its just one word that links to the link? ty Elite)
  6. ModMat Xtreme is pretty cool but a little pricey and the pictures on the mat are kind of confusing and I could see losing a screw or small part fairly easily. Say for instance I'm building a LEGO set, I could lose pieces like crazy on that mat. I think what I'm going to end up going with is something along the lines of http://www.apogeekits.com/antistatic_mat.htm due to the additional safety from ESD as well as the additional flat color, rubber surface that won't allow parts to slide off or bounce off.
  7. Hey guys, I do a lot of at home repairs and I'm looking to upgrade my bench. Right now I just use a grounded wristband on a wooden bench but I need something more professional that can be used for other applications such as building model cars, etc., so a plastic mat or something along those lines is perfect. Do you use a grounded ESD mat to work on? If so, where did you purchase it from? Thanks
