Recent budget cuts from LMG meant that we could no longer afford the license for the font pack we were previously using. Comic Sans is the best free alternative.

Part of me still wishes they did more than just the comic sans. Like change the banner, title, or favicon to an inside gag.

Sounds like those specific sites are being blocked at the DNS or router level. Do you have access to your router's settings?

BlueChinchillaEatingDorito got a reaction from xifivette99 in Whats the best cpu for my dell optiplex 7040
The best CPU that would work is the Intel Core i7-6700. That being said, unless you have one lying around or can get one for pocket change, it won't be worth it as the gains in modern gaming titles would be within error due to the aging architecture.

The best GPU would probably be the GTX 1650 as you're limited to Dell's OEM PSU. Replacing that PSU with a conventional ATX unit is not impossible but at that point, you might as well start with a black slate and build a system from scratch or find a newer OEM platform. Those 6th gen processors won't be able to keep up with anything better than the 1650.

Just going back to college now for Cyber Security.
    Bought a used HP Elitebook 640 G9 12th gen intel i5.
Cleaned it up, put 16gb in it and a reimage. $200 for basically a new laptop.
The one I had before was an hp dv6 from 2011. Still works lol.

    My desktop has a 3700x, 64gb ram, 2070super and 5tb.

Unless whoever installed the network drop messed up when crimping the twisted strands to the plate, it's pretty rare for a failure in the plate.

You can get cable testers which will help you verify both continuity and that the stands were crimped in the right order. If even one of the twisted pairs is in the wrong order, it will cause a situation where there's no network connection.

For clarity and to follow some industry standard defitions, I'll refer "LAN port" as the ones on your router

and "network drop" as the wall socket.

You can still do the same thing. Switch the Ethernet cable that runs from the router to the network drop that isn't working, to a known good LAN port on the router. At the same time, switch the Ethernet cable of the network drop that was working to the LAN port you were having problems.

Warranty it. That's why you have it. No point trying to pull out all the stops in trying to fix it yourself. You're most likely going to break something even more, giving MSI even more reason to deny your claim and permanently void your warranty.

It takes one slip-up to royally screw things up when it comes to repairing monitors. Which is why it's often not worth it, outside of the high cost of replacement panels.

Yep since Whatsapps stores the backups in completely different services for Android and iOS. Don't quote me on this, but it's likely a limitation made by Google and Apple respectively.

Once Chrome and Chromium in general pisses people off enough, then we'll see another shift in market leader much like what happened with Internet Explorer.

It's possible... but it's a hassle. The target device needs to be reset to factory settings as it uses the migration option you typically find when setting up a new Android or iPhone. If you're using a Samsung device, you can use Smart Switch without doing a factory reset.

I mean a 20-year-old card, we're talking mid-late 2000s. You'd be lucky if the damn thing even outputted to 1080P to be honest. And even then, it'll probably struggle just doing that.

Bought this for my 775 system, anything will be better than the stock cooler!

I think you got it framed wrong here. It's about creating positive father and son/daughter experiences for them, not mainly for you. That's how you remembered the good times with your father. But what you're trying to do with your kids, is the opposite to that.

Screw BBB, we have "No Spyware", "Verified Quality FinancesOnline.com", "100% clean Download", and "Good Software". All very convincing badges.

The whole thing screams lazy and classic scam.

If your community members were able to pick up this many red flags in a matter of minutes, perhaps a review of processes is in order. Just the whole premise of the business does not make sense, it contradicts itself. They're promising people the idea of not being tied to subscriptions (such as Office 365 and G-Suite), by selling them subscriptions to their product. In this particular instance, it feels like the community was made the first line of defense.
