  1. You don't need to worry. In the end there will only be 3 versions of Windows 10: Home, Pro, and Enterprise. The difference is that these versions will have many many different "modes" - Advanced, Core+, Core, Value, Entry, each of them with an "S" mode themselves.
  2. all versions of Windows Pro or higher have Domain Join
  3. IBM HomeDirector x10 controller. Still works !
  4. Yeah I agree. One day, there will just be 3 versions of Windows: Windows (Store apps only and win32 emulation on x86 and ARM) Windows Pro (Apps from anywhere, native win32 on x86 and emulation on ARM) and Windows Server.
  5. I have never seen that before. Now I have to go pull out my XP Media Center Edition 2005 PC and investigate..
  6. That was called Automatic Updates. If you wanted to pick and choose, you had to go to a webpage.
  7. Microsoft would literally have to release a version of Windows without a Store, live tiles, and an XP-style Windows Update system where have to go to a website to download new updates, and no included browser.
  8. I'm amazed that people are complaining that this is somehow not enough or not honest.
  9. Jesus, I joined in May of 2014. What a wild ride.
  10. Have you ever used a netbook? Those things SUCKED, and battery life was garbage. With these Snapdragon PCs, standby time will be weeks, and the screen will be instantly on, just like a phone.
  11. You can not call this Windows RT. These Snapdragon PCs run Full Windows 10 with the ability to run full win32 apps like Chrome, Photoshop, and Steam. Even with Windows 10 S, you can still run full win32 apps that are available in the store such as Kodi, Photoshop, and Office.
  12. I don't know about this. I think I'll just stick to my classic GE Christmas lights dating from 1986 to last year plugged into my iot (That's a lie, they're actually on X10 modules on a timer) plugs.
  13. The Gamers Nexus news series is enough for me...
