  1. Ok so it is likely your setting then. Maybe try CPU usage to the next fastest. I would try it with local recordings and see if your playback is smooth and a good enough quality. Edit: CPU usage is backwards so UltraFast is lower CPU usage than Fast
  2. If you put those exact settings in for local recording does it still happen? Like @WambleCropped said it might just be the service. When I had my stuttering issues it was my internet crapping out on me for upload speeds.
  3. Update #1 Feb 2, 2020 So now that my Cosmos Sv2 build is in a state of “I don’t want to do any more to it at the moment” I think it’s time to start something else. Now if you haven’t checked out my Cosmos Sv2 build, it would be great if you did, for those of you who have though you will know that I love the cosmos series of cases from Cooler Master. So when the opportunity arose for me to get a newer cosmos case I naturally jumped on it. Meet my new case! The Cosmos C700M. Now I should probably explain the name of the build. I’m not rich by any means and it took me a long time to afford the Cosmos Sv2 build. So naturally I’m not going to be putting several thousand into a computer that I will not be using all the time. I still have my old build pictured here: This system is what used to be in my Cosmos Sv2 build. It consists of a Phenom II x6 and an XFX hd 7950, hence the all show no go name since the system will look decently premium but will be running older than last gen hardware. Unfortunately, literally as I was writing this my HD 7950 died while idling at the desktop. It actually makes me quite sad that it died since it had a very good looking all metal cooler on it. Now I will be in search of a new GPU but I fear I will not be able to find one with a good looking cooler on it that’s within my budget. Also, when I unboxed the case and tested everything I noticed one of the front panel LEDs for the fan speed indicator is not working(ticket already submitted and in progress). I’m also a little worried about the rgb/fan controller board as I’ve read some people having issues with them but I think I have the updated board so not sure if I will have any issues. Ugh, I feel like this build is off to a terrible start. But at least the case looks really nice.
  4. iirc that case has pretty much a solid acrylic front with small vents on the top and bottom so unfortunately your case flow will always be subpar to a more air flow oriented design. That being said with the restriction on the front panel I would go with some static pressure fans even if they aren't going on a heatsink or rad. Something like a Noctua NF-P12 would work. Can't guarantee it will drop case temps by a lot but it would certainly help. Also if you use any sort of fan control I would get higher rpm fans and just control them manually or have a custom fan curve.
  5. Simply just adding fans may not help cooling performance at all. It can greatly depend on the design of the case. It would really help to know what kind of case you have and what sort of budget you have for fans and how many you want to add.
  6. I wouldn't say it sucks ass but it def could use improvements and tweaks. I find Corsair's RGB control, while more complicated to learn, way better than things like Aura Sync(which has very very limited options)
  7. Yup that's why I mainly go for longevity/quality over looks for fans and even then it's still hella expensive. My build cost me $180 before tax in fans and that's with no rgb and only 7 of them. The LL fans use a hydrodynamic bearing so that shouldn't be a problem with those.
  8. I would go through the corsair configurator here: https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/custom-cooling-configurator/ If you just stick to doing the cpu, meaning just the block, pump/res combo, and rad with associated fittings and tubing it's highly likely that you'd be able to reuse the block for the cpu. I find GPU cooling can be more costly than it's worth since most of the time I find the gpu block is likely not going to be compatible with any new gpus.
  9. Oh wow I should get some sleep I meant double data rate not dual channel >.< I'm gonna edit that so I don't confuse people in the future. Thanks.
  10. Maybe the H150i PRO? Honestly this almost sounds like a perfect chance to delve into custom water cooling with corsair's hydrox series so if it's something you're interested in you could start off by just doing the cpu and leave the gpu. But if you don't want to get into that cus of loop maintenance and stuff I think the H150i PRO is the only triple aio from them.
  11. Again I don't have first hand experience with any of corsair's new fans but maybe have a look at the CORSAIR QL Series and see if there's any reviews noting noise.
  12. Sounds like you're looking at the data rate in cpuz. Your ram is double data rate so multiply the reported speed by 2 giving you 3200mhz Edited for proper terminology
  13. You mentioned in your other post you're looking at the commander pro. If that's the case I would try to keep within one rgb ecosystem it makes syncing the lights easier and you don't have to install extra software. Just my 2 cents.
  14. Yes you should be able to get pwm splitters or daisy chainable fans. The only downside is that the rpm is read only off 1 fan. Also commander pro fan specs are: "Max. power per fan header (combined) 1A per port (4.5A combined)" So as long as you don't exceed 1A per header and 4.5A total you'll be fine, just double check the specs of the fans you're planning to buy.
  15. The commander pro can support more than 1 fan per channel with the use of a splitter so long as your power requirements are within spec. I have 2 sets of 3 fans running on 2 channels of my commander pro. AS for the rgb control you might be able to daisy chain it too but I don't have rgb in my build currently so I don't have experience with it yet. Also by the looks of it iCUE looks like it could control more than one commander pro if you need.
  16. Yea I'm going to give them at least a week. Guess I'm just concerned by the "why is there no support" and "my ticket hasn't been answered for a month" topics in their forum. I guess you only really ever here the bad stories though Thanks for your insights. I did submit the ticket within their office hour times(in the afternoon for them) but I do understand an extra day because of that. It's just a replacement part but not sure what warranties they have to do internally. I'm also nothing but polite and try to be as informative as possible for CS staff(at least to a more than reasonable point) I did work in CS(more person to person not on the phone/online) and I know how it feels when people treat you like crap and still expect you to help them. When I called by phone I mainly just wanted to make sure my response to them got processed because their site was giving me a lot of errors when I was replying and I didn't want to spam them. I made sure I was calling during their office hours(4 hours before they say they close) because I don't expect them to be answering anything or even have a queue line running after hours. Thanks gonna give them a week I guess.
  17. Yea I mean there is that saying "A picture is worth a thousand words" If they can't tell us why it won't fit they could at least show us so we can try and help.
  18. At this point if it were me I would take everything out of the case and start over with a test on the mobo box just to be sure. Only connect the bare minimum to be able to post so no front I/O or hard drives or anything. Basically just the mobo, cpu/heatsink, gpu, ram, psu, keyboard. If it still doesn't post out of the case try it without the gpu, you should still get the cpu fan to spin without the video card meaning the mobo would at least turn on without the gpu.
  19. Did you test all the new parts outside of the case on the motherboard box first to ensure everything was working and the system would post? Edit: Also what cpu is it? Your mobo may need a bios update as well.
  20. Not sure why it wouldn't fit that video card should be 290mm in length and the nzxt h500 specs 381mm for video card clearance. So even if you had an aio with fans you should still have about 326mm for video card space. You'll have to explain further as to what exactly isn't fitting. Is the card hitting something? Is it just not going into the slot properly? Pictures would be a great help.
  21. I don't think you would need to have 3rd party drivers. Win10 is usually pretty good at getting things up and running, at least in my experience. Also there's re-certified T5500 available on newegg.ca with win10 https://www.newegg.ca/dell-precision-t5500-business-desktops-workstations/p/N82E16883160170?item=N82E16883160170&source=region&nm_mc=knc-googleadwordsca-pc&cm_mmc=knc-googleadwordsca-pc-_-pla-_-desktop+pc-_-N82E16883160170&gclid=Cj0KCQiA04XxBRD5ARIsAGFygj_yjDd17CXlaRMI5Pl0uhuy0oJDyAKeL9PXSVzOtc5jfvwOkNu0CGAaAmzbEALw_wcB
  22. Haha yea, back then just about everyone made floppy disks so who knows where they are now. Canadian Tire where they were bought still exists but they'd probably pull the typical "the lifetime warranty is only available through the manufacturer" deal. Also that hd 4890 has a lifetime warranty too, I wonder if xfx would still honor that.
  23. Here's some of the items I have. First up an XFX HD 4890 with original box. AFAIK it should still work. The keen eyed will notice that's not the original fan Next is some random Cyrix cpu I have. Last is my sealed pack of 5.25" floppy disks with lifetime warranty .
  24. I would give hwinfo64 a try it will take some time to customize but it should have everything you need. Just set it to start with windows.
  25. Are there specific parameters you want to monitor? I usually have MSI afterburner up and running to monitor temps and usage. It doesn't show voltages or network usage though. HWinfo64 is also good but make sure you adjust the settings if you have corsair stuff running.
