  1. After some research, I really like the Cm 690 III, What do you think guys, this case or the ones mentioned above (including the carbide 500r). Thank you very much.
  2. Well I've read and watched some reviews about the silencio 550, and there is a problem withe the air flow: the fans that come withe the case are 800RPM, so they are silent but the airflow resulting is bad, and the case is heating, if you replace them with better fans, the case in not silent anymore!! I think I'll pass the silencio 550. Any advice guy with other cases from the list? I can go as high as to buy this http://www.sbsinformatique.com/prod-14444-Boitier-PC-Cooler-Master-Silencio-652S.html or this http://www.sbsinformatique.com/prod-3132-Boitier-Pc-Corsair-Vengeance-C70-Gunmetal-Black.html or the carbide 500R.
  3. That's my opinion also, I like simple and elegant designs, that's why I didn't like the cabride spec or the graphite. If the silencio 550 is a good cooler I'll take it.
  4. I've posted in the mobo section about my problem to chose a mobo, and a case, but I think asking about the case here is more relevant. I want to buy a new case compatible with ATX mobos, mine is a cheap one and dosent' fit an ATX mobo, my budget is 150$ we have here: 1-Cooler master cm 690 III (not windowed): 146$ 2-Cooler master Silencio 550: 150$ 3-Corsair Carbide Spec-1(ugly): 83$ 4-Corsair Carbide 100R: 84$ 5-Corsair Carbide 200R: 98$ 6-Corsair Carbide Spec-3: 103$ 7-Corsair Graphite 230T (The orange is exessive): 112$ 8-Cooler Master Silencio 550: 140$ And other cases but a bit out of my budget. I want cooling (may be I will add a watercooling kit next), looks, and relative silence. The two sites that I can purchase from (I am in Tunisia, prices are in TND (Tunisia Dinar)) are : http://www.tunisiane...ur-pc-de-bureau http://www.sbsinform...sie-boitiers-pc Thank you very much
  5. Thank you Sean, it is my favourite but I needed a second and fresh look. What about the case, any thoughts?
  6. Hello there, I know that there are tons of this subject here and in the net, but my specific problem, is that here in Tunisia, the coice is very limited (like very much!). I want to complete a build that I started, I already have an LDLC 500W 80+ bronze PSU (the same seasonic 520W 80+ bronze), and a Sapphire R9-280X toxic GPU. Now I am going to complete the RIG: I already chose the i7-4790K as my CPU (492$): here in Tunisia, technology will come to us very late, so waiting for broadwell or skylake, won't cut it, so I decided to spend money on a very good cpu that will last me a while (I will try a new RIG after 4 years). The problem is the mobo, I want a good mobo mainly for gaming, but I use Catia V5 for CAD and I intend to do some Overclocking in the near future (nothing very serious though). I need storage(M.2 and Sata Express are like unicorns here!) and quality. Here are the best choices in the local market: 1-MSI z97 gaming 5: 192$ 2-Asus maximus vii ranger: 238$ 3-MSI z97a gaming 7: 243$ 4-Asus Z97 Pro Gamer 223$ 5-Asrock z97 Extreme 4: 177$ (I don't like the blue theme because of my orange toxic ) Please bear in mind that we have no aftermarket service from the manufacturers, just the warranty from the seller, which is for only a year. The other issue is the Case, mine is a cheap one and dosent' fit an ATX mobo, my budget is 150$ we have here: 1-Cooler master cm 690 III (not windowed): 146$ 2-Cooler master Silencio 550: 150$ 3-Corsair Carbide Spec-1(ugly): 83$ 4-Corsair Carbide 100R: 84$ 5-Corsair Carbide 200R: 98$ 6-Corsair Carbide Spec-3: 103$ 7-Corsair Graphite 230T (The orange is exessive): 112$ 8-Cooler Master Silencio 550: 140$ And other cases but a bit out of my budget. I want cooling (may be I will add a watercooling kit next), looks, and relative silence. Sorry for the lenghty article, but I trust you guys, I've chosen my PSU and GPU due to your advices, and I will continue to trust you always. Thank you very much. P.S: The RAM will be an XPG 8Gb 1600MHz(86$), or Kingston Fury Red 8Gb 1866MHz (99$). 7. OK, thanks, I verified, this is the link to the card: http://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00155000.html it is an R9 280X dual-x 3Gb oc GDDR5. And I will take the non uefi version because my current mobo is old and do not support it.
  8. thanks a lot. The vapor-x is 30 euros more. I can squeeze myself and get it. Is it worth it? Don't forget, I am still saving for the pther parts, it is just that I want to go ahead and buy the GC now, and complete the full upgrade later.
  9. last question: the model I chose is sapphire dual-x, what do you think about the brand, in France it is the cheapest r9 280x. is it good (noise and heating of course)?
  10. Thanks, I'll go with your advice, it made what i whish a logical choice
  11. what do you think of this: http://www.ldlc.com/Sales/BasketPage.aspx (the prices are in euro) or should I stay with the r9 280x ( to be honest, my heart wants the r9 280x, but my pocket wants the most efficient way to spend my money!)
  12. the highest card I can get with my money is the r9 280x for now, and I am itching to play the new dx11 games that I can't wait for another 4-6 months. May be I can upgrade the GC after 2 years from now.
  13. Hi guys, I am in the process of upgrading my pc. For now I am changing my graphic card and my psu, and later in teh year i will upgrade the cpu and the mobo. My choice is sapphire r9 280x dual-x oc + seasonic S12II 520w. But due to the reducing of amd cards prices, i've had a new thought, is it more suitable to purchase a sapphire r9 270x dual-x + psu + 22" dvi screen? My actual screen is samsung synsmaster s100, 18.5" with a single vga. What do you think guys? My main obgectif is futureproofing, I can't make upgrades for another 4-5 years. I can save up for the screen later if the r9 280x is worth it. Thanks a lot.
