  1. "Too late" relates to the NF-A12s. They are "too late" because the Phanteks T30 fans released a little while ago with marginally superior performance to the beige NF-A12s and a slightly lower price. So long as the 30mm thickness wasn't an issue, people (such as myself) waiting for black NF-A12s gave up waiting and bought the Phanteks fans instead. Noctua has a very strong brand so I'm sure they'll sell just fine anyway. Plus they are 25mm thick as opposed to the T30s 30mm thickness, so for those holding out for the best all-black 25mm thick fans, this has not come too late.
  2. They'll have removed the headphone jack and the charging port this time around. Courage to the Max with the iPad X Max Plus
  3. Hey moderator, thanks for the reply You or I might not care about power draw, but looking at nvidia’s history of GPUs, it seems clear that for whatever reason, they want to keep their GPUs within a certain TDP (around 150-165W for x80 and 250W for x80ti). This is a new release and they are competing against themselves, they have no reason to deviate from their historical TDP trend other than to ensure an acceptably higher level of performance over the 10 series cards. With that in mind, you could even argue that nvidia is already pushing these cards harder than they would ideally have liked in order to meet adequate performance levels. If the 10 series was worse than it is, we might have seen even lower clocked 20 series cards with TDPs more in-line with previous cards than they are currently.
  4. Its because of power consumption. The 2080 is already closer in TDP to past x80ti cards than it is to x80 ones. Raising the clockspeeds would be good for marketing, but then they would have to provide TDPs significantly higher than the ones they have currently, and they are already on the high side. That would be bad for marketing. Having them clocked to the wall at stock would make them look worse for power consumption, instead they can advertise more overclocking headroom and leave the choice of increased clocks or lower power usage to users. Aand a very off-topic thing: I’ve been using this forum much more since overclock.net had a redesign. Just thought I’d say I really appreciate this community, you guys are great. That’s all
  5. Thanks Linus I am currently using a corsair Strafe with MX Silent switches, and a logitech G502. I am mostly interested in the lower weight mouse, but it all sounds amazing!
