  1. Yeah, the Philippines sucks when it comes to PC components, its mostly 20-30% more than what "ppl not in the philippines" post. How much is it for you guys?
  2. Hi, I plan on upgrading my 500gb 850 evo to a 1tb ssd. To my extreme dismay, the prices I paid for my unit is now equivalent to a 1tb sku, and I paid around 170-180 usd. Now I am choosing between a 2.5" sata 860 evo for 173 usd vs the m.2 nvme sx8200 for 157 usd. I know samsung's 2.5" evo speeds can match even some nvme drives. But I do know that the sx8200 is not one of the bad ones. So Which one do I go for, and why? Hoping to gain some insight, Thanks!
  3. Thank you very much for your time and patience good Sir. Cheers.
  4. Is the Delta unit I listed not good? And how good/bad is Simulated Sine Wave?
  5. Thanks for the great insight! I never even considered transfer time. ? Have you 'heard of' or read anything on the other manufacturers on my list? I can't seem to find reviews on any of them. Btw, I found that Eaton model offered here in my country. Finally, I have a proper model to compare against! Thank you!
  6. Even if I did want a 700w UPS, the list won't change. I'm actually more interested in finding out which manufacturers from my list actually make decent UPS. If you can't offer that, please don't post anymore, I would like to stay on topic. Thanks!
  7. I have an 850w psu for my system. I'm only looking for help in choosing which UPS.
  8. I computed that my system would pull 550w from the wall. I wanted a PSU would be 150% of that and 850w was what I came up with. So I want a UPS that would cover more than 850w, closest is 900w.
  9. Hi, I am currently in need of a 850-900w+ UPS and I am hoping to gather some insight on the manufacturers of my current selection. I am aware that APC would be the 'most trusted' brand in the list, but the only model in my country is a 700w model, and there is a heck of a premium on it. So, I am currently choosing between the ff. models: USD-----Model 62-------Intex IT-1500VA https://dynaquestpc.com/collections/ups-avr/products/intex-it-1500va 63-------Secure 1500va 1000 watts https://dynaquestpc.com/collections/ups-avr/products/secure-1500va-1000-watts 69-------AWP 1500VA 900 watts Aid1500 https://www.wisepowerusa.com/flash_files/file/20161128/20161128181631_64482.pdf 112-----Kstar Micro2000 2000va / 1200w http://www.kstar.com/Line InteractiveUPS/10162.jhtml 115-----Delta VX1500VA 1500va https://www.deltapowersolutions.com/en/mcis/600va-1500va-single-phase-ups-vx-series.php 135-----PROLINK pro1501sfc 1500va https://prolink2u.com/product/super-fast-charging-line-interactive-series 158-----FSP EP1500va https://www.fsplifestyle.com/PROP162000542 214-----APC Back-UPS BX1400U-MS 700Watts 1400va https://www.apc.com/shop/my/en/products/APC-Back-UPS-1400VA-230V-AVR-Universal-and-IEC-Sockets/P-BX1400U-MS I have read horror stories about Intex and Secure, and I own an FSP EP1500va. I had a really bad time with my EP1500's software, and its batteries ballooned and started leaking (thank god it didn't explode/die and take my system with it.) I have since replaced the batteries and it can currently hold power properly, but the usb connection/circuit seems to have died because it won't be detected by my system any longer. TIA. P.S. : I apologize if I posted this on the wrong section of the forums, I couldn't find a UPS section. Please move my post to the 'correct' section if you must. Thanks.
