If the miner used gives you proper control you can do what ever you want. I’d just make sure the psu is capable of running the two cards with one at reduced power, one card at full and the cpu being utilized. As that’s how it would be while gaming and mining simultaneously. 

Well yea you’re always supposed to have 100% usage. That’s the point of the gpu. I mean the FPS issue you stated. 

The point is there’s always another choice. But people will always find a way out of seeing that and just crying in the end. I doubt anyone who has ever purchased a Titan at retail is crying about midrange card pricing.

Sounds like cavitation. Trapped air, need to bleed it better.

Can take along time. But if you’re giving them a build design and all free reign of the build it could be months.

Well the pump does kinda levitate when powered. So it could move up and rub.

Won’t matter if it’s x16 or x4. It’s gonna mine the same. Nothing to worry about.

I do both. Mainly because that’s how my psu’s are. One only has single 6/8 pins. 
The other only has dual. Results are the same. One just looks better depending on the hardware used. 

Depends on the card. Most do get hot. Especially with a poor design. 
 
I had two identical cards, one on air and one on water. Using a sealed backplate like an ek version was very hot. 70-80c
A perforated one like evga sat around 60c. The cards have vram on the back too. Contributes to a lot more heat. 
 
But all of my cards get hot on the back but that depends on how hot they get as well. Tend to keep mine no hotter than 45c ever. And I keep my builds designed with airflow for all the mobo components anyway, so everything tends to stay cool.

I get it, the led emits from the side not up. I’m sure you can find it as it can’t be a proprietary version. Someone has to make it. 

Unless the card was flashed for a specific bios that miners use, you wont know.
 
Use is use, it doesnt matter if it was mined on or not. You gaming on it will be much worse. 
 
Normally ifs just ignorance when people ask about it. Had a guy ask me if I mined on my titan black's before I sold them one. Which really shows how little the mases know. 
 
If its a good deal get it. Unless its a cheap card like msi, seem to have the most fan failures.

Not sure why it would come with a warranty. Nor should you be looking for one with used products, especially a cpu in this case.
