Doubt anyone would mod the bios to mine on those. Some quick bench tests would tell you if its been done if comparing bios's wont.

Idk, 6 more years. Maybe 10. How long are you gonna use it without changing the thermal paste or thermal pads? Is the place it being used have proper voltage?

The latest ekwn rotary 90 would be a close fit. Being 20.75mm. Id do that before buying a non roatary 90 and hoping it matches the angle needed once installed.

Mick Naughty got a reaction from matjohncampbell in Case with dust filters or not?
Mine came with one decent filter. Bought a kit to cover every hole on the case. Dont use them in exhaust spots but overall temps are the least of my concern when picking a case. As im not putting top tier equipment in a $30 case.

I only use ddu when theres an issue. Which has been twice in a decade.
Perform a clean install and call it a day.

There are countless blocks for a 3090, you just need to pick a card that fits one. Looking at the blocks will tell you what they fit. Then you will know what to buy.
And there are cards with blocks already on them. All of the offerings are copper, or nickel plated copper so it wont matter overall running it with normal copper rads.

Many dont waste the time because they are all within 1-2c and isnt really a point to compare.
I run the same setup, used ekwb evo block but just swapped to a monoblock as it was very cheap.
I buy for looks and run the same blocks. And no one makes a better block than ek when it comes to he 3090fe.

Doenst matter when it comes. The question will be asked every day until it does come out.  And the answers will be the same.

When using a closed header like that 3 pin, it needs to be opened up. I did it a few times. I have a multi tool or razor blade to cut the side open of the plastic.

The rgb depends on the type the female side is. Either isnt gonna be compatible voltage wise or just need an adapter for it which isnt uncommon.

Run my 3090 with an evga 850. Only see 550 from the wall. Gpu isn’t fully utilized with the cpu being subpar.

Great board for me so far. Has all the fancy stuff I prefer in a board.

No need for a combo if buying a plate. Any quality pump d5 or ddc is gonna be fine for that system.

The reference version is one of the easiest cards to take apart. Prolly gonna need 2, 2.5 and 3mm pads. But depends on the version you get and some are more malleable than others. Like whats on it now its gonna be soft so prolly best to measure. And almost any paste is good to use.

Yea I figured the same. Not a cpu that came out years after the game and is far beyond the needed specs.

Yea, should give you enough time to stop the game and safely shut down.
Prolly 15-20 mins with that rig. I use a Cyber Power 1500va. Gives me about 10 at full bore. But I also keep the modem and router on it.

They tend to be good in finding the silicone limit with little work but it always adds alot of core voltage to make up for it.
Best to do it the old-fashioned way.

Its just a diffusion barrier. You can sand it too. But you'd need some uncommon house tools to do it safely. Or just send it.

I've done it on every rig aside from the one I just made. Doesnt hurt anything as its just sitting unused anyway.

They can just go ammo from the store. Being a low end card, only gamers or people who dont know better are gonna buy it.

If you can get away with it, theres no harm is keeping in all together. As long as the connections are good and dont mind the risk of a leak.
