also keep in mind an aio hinders overall airflow dramatically, to the point  its actually not recommended for a 3090, an aircooler mostly alleviates these issues.

i mean that works too (i just really dislike water coolers for obvious safety reasons)

I dont know what the obvious safey reasons are. Aside from money, but thats a reason to not like anything.

  2. Mine struggles with a 3090. Dont care to push the overclock to run at such high temps for little return.
Other games like 2042 exaggerates that as it pegs every core. I'll be upgrading to a 13700k, no need for me to struggle with this cpu with the next wave of games coming out.

it is "working" though just trying to see how well with benchmarks.  Its only getting about 30% better than my 2070 and from what all I see, the 3070 should be doing that so the 3090 should be much higher.   core clocks are low and wondering why.  afterburner shows core clocks never going much over 1000MHZ under load, it will spike to 1700 every once in a while when not doing anything (assume background tasks).

Not knowing the version, should be able to see the limits in the software. Could have been flashed as well.

  4. Would only get the fe models myself. Love the look and build quality.
Does great for gaming if the cpu can handle it and editing videos is amazing with it.
If you have the cash for a TI, go for it. Got my 3090 used but came with the $400usd block on it. Nice having a smaller card as well, opens up some build options if you go water some time.
