  1. I dont need to get anywhere. They asked for a suggestion. Op can get a 4090 then, should be better than what you suggested. Problem solved.
  2. Well op can get that then. If its as good they should be getting a 4080 then.
  3. Because I dont buy amd nor do I know how they compare. And 3090's are going for $800.
  4. Wouldnt go lower than a 3090 myself. Or a 3080 if that cpu can handle 1080p.
  5. The air getting in and it getting out. Especially if using a rad in every spot for the case.
  6. Always get the new and best thing, never be a pleb and wait.
  7. e85 isnt about saving money. Its about lower egt's and a lower flash point. Wont run like crap if you tune or it already has a content sensor.
  8. Not saying its fine. Just dont use it as a reoffence for usage. If the usage is zero while actually idle and maxes out while the gpu is stressed or benchmarked correctly, then theres not an issue.
  9. Well windows shouldn’t be used as a reference for gpu usage. As it covers several things and sometimes doesn’t even show usage at all.
  10. I just referenced a few oc'ing guides from youtube. Obviously, your milage will very. Mine needs alot of voltage to reach anything worth while. der8auer has a good video but he always has prime examples. Dount you would even need to overclock it to run with a 2080s. Run mine around 4.6 as doing any more wont yeild much and then its really hot. Gaming it sites around 65c on a custom loop and 80c rendering. Holding back this 3090 a bit on 1440 bit cod is poorly optimized with all its updates and settings anyway.
  11. Sounds like all of the clear tubing I've ever tired. Had the weird, grey/white film clog my bits power rads. Swapped to corsairs stuff. Havent had the clogging issues but I only use ek zmt hose now.
  12. With the right fans I’d rather take the mini. Even stock setup should be much better. And the layout of addition fans would help if it’s gonna be a poor cooling card. Modular design helps when using smaller boards as well. With the right parts they can be equally quite. Would rather have more airflow if you are going to limit fan rpms for less noise while in use.
  13. It’s works fine. I’d get the bracket for the 1700 chip and use aftermarket paste. Works quite well unless you are wanting to throw a lot of voltage at it and render all day.
  14. Yea I wish my cpu could keep up. Hate going with 1440p. But cheaper to get a monitor than upgrade the rig.
  15. Id just do generic single barb fittings that match the ID of the tube. If you wonna spend a little more, multibarb is my preferred way. Not a fan of compression in looks or ease of install.
  16. The adapter came with 4 on it for a reason. I’d use 4 actual cables. Get a fancy cable for a “cleaner” look.
  17. Don’t think his issue was solely the animals. Most houses just have poor ventilation/filtering. I just get filter kits for my old cases and the new stuff doesn’t really need much more. I just take the compressor to them every couple months when I have the energy to move them.
  18. My 9900k won’t downclock and idles aren’t 55c. So sometimes a bit more fan noise and unneeded power consumption. I keep it on balanced and adjust the maximum processor state to 50/60%. Just swap back when I need to actual things that require the power.
  19. If you're prepared to take it apart for tim, I'd prolly source all sizes of pads as well. They dont come apart well. Does it still idle well?
  20. Couldnt afford it then. Still can't. Wanting a gtx 690 or titan z, itx/matx rig. Maybe a media pc or something.
  21. Well it using fthe fans is normal. Running at those temps arent. Seems like theres poor airflow or the tim needs replaced.
  22. It’s a shame when you scroll back just a few pages and see almost every rig having multiple cards. Gone with the times it seems. Grabbed some old parts, some new and remade my spare rig again. Currently my school computer and possibly work from home setup.
  23. I’d use them. That’s the whole point of an adapter. I use them for lights. Hubs will be fine either way. Can connect quite a lot before it will ever be a real issue.
  24. Sometimes I build mine to be bled or filled while on their back. Even then I till mine pretty far while running to bleed them. Sit them on their side or face all the time. Smaller cases I lift up and spin around.
