hi guys, so heres the situation.. i got a ssd for my new laptop on day 1 and i'm left with an unused (5400rpm)2.5" hdd.. should i get a hdd caddy or should i get an external enclosure for hdd? i have heard that hdd consumes more power than ssd and i fear that adding a hdd with ssd in laptop will affect my battery life... also i think mechanical hdd cant handle moving laptop while hdd is spinning ...is that true?? what do u guys suggest?i'm confused Thnx

hi guys..so today i got a new laptop from hp and i know that it has stock 5400 rpm drive..which is going to be terrible.. so i have not installed anything yet on my new laptop now, it came with windows 10 preinstalled..and the windows is also activated.. so i want to install an ssd in my laptop... and i also want to install fresh windows 10 in new ssd(preferably) so will installing a new ssd require me to purchase a new windows license key? if not ..can u guys guide me through it? never been much of windows user(linux guy)...whats the deal with this windows license

hi guys. i'm not much on forum(bcoz i dont have h/w to play around with)..but i do watch ltt vids daily... today i'm a bit confused over my issue and i want u all guys to help me so i have an intel mobo and an i5-650.. i have been using 2 monitors...which were running using integrated graphics(intel hd) My this setupp is mainly for coding and lite productive stuff(word,ppt...etc)....and obviously for watching LTT vids Also my OS is ubuntu 15.04 the only game i play is Team Fortress 2 so here is my problem.. i got a gpu from a friend who wanted to get rid of his system for free....its an nvidia gt210 so should i add it to my system (which is currently working just fine without any gpu) other thing to note is that its a passive cooled gpu. so no fan on it.. and my case just has a single fan at rear(apart from stock intel fan).. the gpu doesnt need any extra power from powersupply. after all this...is it worth adding to system...or should i just keep it aside??

Country with avg monthly income of around $250-300 it is simply impossible to spend on higher end gizmos. Need keyboard bcoz programmable keys will make life easier in 'Team Fortress2'. And mouse bcoz i can finally stop spending on cheap (₹600/$10) mouse each time buttons stop working playing tf2. Tf2 again bcoz its free

Hi guys..... New to this site...and new to this diy computer stuff Bought my computer about 4years back(from some idiot when i knew nothing about pc).. Specs: cpu:i5-650 Motherboard:intel dh55pj Ram:2gb Os:windows 32 Smps:iball lpe223-400 Intel hd graphics ..i want to upgrade my system 1. Will gtx-750ti work with this motherboard 2. Is my smps having enough power for this graphic card? 3. My motherboard supports only upto 8gb ram @1333mhz...is it good to buy a 4 gb ram and use it with 2 gb one...or throw the 2 gb one and use a single 8gb stick
