  2. Imagine buying and driving whatever you want... Silly people, thinking they can outrun the fun police. Nah nah nah
  3. So it's actually your fault? Sorry about that @iDeFecZx I feel exactly the same way. Eek. I get programming related services becoming a subscription because I work in the area and there's always somebody working on it and even when the functionality is finished, you still need a support team on it to clear out bugs and what not. But even still, I don't think that should be a paid service, even if the development has costs. (doesn't mean those teams stop getting paid, not at all, the manufacturer just has to factor those costs somewhere else) Sure, that is a commodity not everyone uses/needs, but I just hate gatekeeping and all this capitalistic bs.
  4. Some of the latest posts are missing (were appearing yesterday) and I have notifications for posts that aren't appearing for me, so yeah, still not at 100%.

Some weird shit is going down

    So I've heard, all good.
  6. I remember it having more than 151k replies, it's already at 148k.
  7. Wasn't me. Unless that news article regarding BMW is so terrible that the thread itself decided to delete itself. Yeah, that's probably it.

  10. As someone who got into watches during the holiday season last year, I bought myself my first watch, a Seiko SSB385P1. Of course it had to be a Seiko and I also craved for a chronograph because I'm a Navitimer fan and had developed a crush on the green and gold Alpinist (SARB017), but when it arrived I soon found out the seconds were the small complication at the 6 o'clock and was disappointed, I was new to watches so didn't really know what the tachometer was and so on. Although, the dial on this watch is very very nice, the color really pops with sunlight. Plus, green and gold never gets old. This is also my daily watch when I feel like using one, when I'm not wearing a watch, I wear a Mi Band. More recently, I bought a Cadisen. Less than 90€, decent automatic movement for all I know (Miyota 8215) and sapphire crystal, good specs for the price, that's what lured me into it. It is not an original design, it's basically a replica (or hommage if you want to call it that, I don't) of a Longines Conquest VHP. The sapphire is a very nice addition, which you usually only see on watches that cost more than double what I paid for this one. My next purchase is going to be a red dial Orient Kamasu (which I saw @GamerDude has one of, amidst his collection of more pricier watches ahah), it was supposed to be the one after the Seiko, but the Cadisen was just so damn cheap and I wanted to try an automatic. Safe to say, I keep forgetting to wind it (hence the different times on both watches ahahah, the Seiko is a quartz, ol'trusty). Now that I also saw that Alpinist Ginza of @GamerDude, had never seen one before, that is one great looking dial and watch in general, damn. Some of my favorite watches currently that I see myself owning in the future include the Kamasu, a G-Shock for when I go hiking and all, a type B flieger of some sort, a Citizen NJ0150-81X (looks like if a Tissot PRX and a Rolex Oyster Perpetual had a baby, love it), too many Citizens that I care to admit (Nighthawk is one of those), a Vostok Europe GAZ-12 Limousine mostly because of the blue and the tritium, a Luminox, Seiko Cocktail Times and Sharp Edged watches, a fully lumed watch and something titanium as well. Let's see how the collection progresses... Big Seiko/Citizen/Orient/Casio Edifice guy. Would love a spring drive Grand Seiko, but those are some expensive watches. I'd also like to get into modding, but considering the price of a complete watch from shops like Namoki and the fact that I'd still need to buy proper tools, that might only happen in a few years. Also, @iBabySlapper I've seen some very nice watches that you posted that I had never seen before, the MMI Turret and this one in the quote below, what is it? And that one you built yourself with the purple dial, that is one amazing looking watch, I wish companies made more purple dials. Some very nice collections I have seen here, congrats to you all!
