Well, after a year of research I finally pulled the plug, er, added a plug:
2024 Ioniq 5 limited:
Installed the charging station on the back of my house almost a year ago when I started looking, so I'm now finally using it.
My last 5 cars have been Chevys, but GM no longer makes any EV I'm interested in. I was looking forward to the Equinox EV but then the specs came out and it is going to be bigger than the Equinox I had. Then I was seriously considering a Bolt EUV but then they announced they were discontinuing that line. So the only 2 left that I liked were the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Nissan Ariya. Been going back and forth between those 2 for several months, came down to the big cash back deals Hyundai is offering this month.
Love it so far, took a 100 mile trip last weekend and only used $4 in electricity. That is about the farthest trip I do these days so I probably won't ever need to use public charging.
Kind of sad in a way, in my life I've gone from rebuilding engines back in the late '70s to not being able to fix a darn thing with all the computer controlled stuff, now I really won't be working on anything car related anymore.
I really like the looks of them.
Just don't damage the battery xD

I do alot of street racing, and take the sport serious as it can be dangerous at times, that is with the wrong person behind the wheel. but after 20 plus years of honing in my skills iv'e hit the ceiling and now its just a hobby, below is my new ride its fast sleek and gets the job done, and if I ever wanna race again its got the power and tourque. looking forward to tuning the exhaust.
What's the quarter mile on that beast?

Never thought I'd see the day... Then again, I was never expecting them to ever do something like this to begin with... Gatekeeping already installed hardware... lol
That's modern companies for you I guess.

has to be a hybrid as a base model in order to meet CAFE restrictions.
And what's wrong with that?
And also, @warmmilk nice seeing you again!

How do people drive like this? I cleaned one side, all the rest of the glass is like the passenger side.
I don't understand either, having my windscreen dirty annoys me so much.

I rarely take photos of my car anymore, but there's just something about fresh snow
In other news I just bought NFS unbound for $35 on steam. It's my first NFS game since hot pursuit in 2013 maybe? One thing I wish it had was its one user radio, because the current song list isn't really my taste.
Gearbox still holding up? Damn.
I wish games still allowed user radios... Really felt the same with Payback and Heat. Yet to play Unbound but I think I'd feel the same exact way.

This isn't a hard problem man. The console can absolutely detect if anything important is already happening before entering standby (or this deeper, more efficient form of standby). If anything, this just reduces power consumption when the console would already have been on standby.
Many idle tasks could also be done on standby quite easily.
There's not so much as a hint that these updates will change anything for tge user aside from reducing waste. You're complaining that the console is wasting less power because what exactly?
Because they did it without the user's consent

So the Mercedes dealership found an error code P0207 "injector cylinder 7" which indicate a problem with the injector on cylinder 7 on my 4-cylinder Mercedes.
She thinks she's a big girl now.

Latest acquisition. Having had this for a month now, I am absolutely over the moon with it, such a good looking and solid feeling watch. I have been wearing this almost daily and the lume is just good enough for me to charge it before going to sleep and still see the time if I wake up during the night (obviously it gets pretty dim, but it's still visible enough for me). I genuinely love it!

Which one? Tens of thousands of blockchains were revealed to be fraudolent schemes already. It's not just pyramid scheme. Every financial fraud in history has been dusted off and redeployed using blockchain in countless effective variations.
People here were calling all of crypto a pyramid scheme. Must have been my misunderstanding...
