  1. If your router is a Modem + Router. Move the whole thing to your room and connect it through Ethernet. You get speeds like 1000mb/sec with a Cat6 cable if not even higher speeds
  2. Shouldn't be hard at all to change it. Just replace the thermal paste
  3. Thank you for the advice . If I may ask, what's wrong with a corsair m45?
  4. Men looks good but still a little too expensive
  5. So im buying a mouse around $65 but these are the only ones I like. I don't know which one to go for. Corsair M45 http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00ARD5410/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB Redragon Perdition 16400 DPI MMO Mouse http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00GU8W5AE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2YOFN38EZ3CHM I know the Redragon isn't known as well as Corsair but I like the functions it comes with. Also I don't play MMO's but this mouse could be helpful for programming C and Java Im also looking at Amazon because I have a $20 gift card so it'd be cheaper than other places. Any advice would be appreciated
  6. Spend the $100 on motherboard. If you already spent that much money on GPU and CPU might as well spend money on a good motherboard
  7. The only thing I could see wrong is either the ram is faulty or the slots are faulty. Try using different ram for the bad slots and if that does not work then I'd say the slots are just gone
  8. You've got a big life ahead of you
  9. It retails for $89 but since it's modded probably like $100-$110
  10. Mines always messy but I clean it like once a month
  11. Replace. No point in repairing something that's dead and old
  12. I'd go for adata. If you have more money go for adata xpg series
  13. Dumb question, but are the sata ports enabled in the bios? Maybe try a different cable also
  14. Sadly no, the CPU you have is LGA 1155 while the Mobo is LGA 1150
  15. Reduce your budget for the CPU cooler to something around $45 and spend the $45 you saved on the GPU
  16. Try this 1. Plug in the drive's SATA power cable *only* (not the data cable) 2. Boot the PC and let it sit for around 30 minutes. 3. With the PC power still on, plug in the SATA data cable. Do not disconnect the power. 4. Press the PC's reset switch. Link: http://forum.crucial.com/t5/Solid-State-Drives-SSD/How-I-fixed-my-M4-that-wouldn-t-detect-in-the-BIOS/td-p/110964
  17. I guess it all depends on your budget and what you personally think sounds right in your PC. I bought my Corsair h80i and I use my stock fans that came with it and I have to say they are nice. People who have complained about them are making problems about them that are made from thin air. Would I replace them for Noctua fans? Probably not since I don't really like them. Just my opinion
  18. Depends how old the GPU is. If it's new than its not really worth changing the thermal paste. It might decrease the temp by 2 degrees Celsius but not really worth the trouble. As long as the GPU is under 80 C you should be fine
  19. Does it see the SSD when you switch it back to the 3 gb port? If so, then I'd say try different 6 gb ports and look into the bios
