  1. Awesome, thanks for the replies. I couldn't see in the images I found if it was PCIe or SATA. I'll be ordering a Samsung 850 then.
  2. Hi, I'm looking to purchase this laptop. I will be swapping the 5400rpm sshd for this 750gb 7200rpm drive, and wish to install an SSD in the m.2 slot. Can I install one of these Samsung 950 PCIe ssd's? Thanks in advance for any replies.
  3. This is just pathetic. This whole anonymous thing is beyond belief. It's just a bunch of 12yr olds that know how to use google. The media continuing to cover their 'attacks' is absurd.
  4. Oh man I'd love a new KB. I've had my current one for about a year and a half. It's starting to stick sometimes, and I miss having a 10key Number pad.
  5. WCCF Tech found a nice little feature of the Windows store! You can change your reigion to Ukraine, and get ROTT for only $9! Source: http://wccftech.com/rise-tomb-raider-9-windows-store/
  6. They are not replacing it with android, more merging Chrome OS and Android. http://www.theverge.com/2015/10/29/9639950/google-combining-android-chromeos-report
  7. Yesterday, Google released their first in-house designed and manufactured tablet, the Google Pixel C. Source Link: https://googleblog.blogspot.com/2015/12/meet-pixel-c-our-take-on-tablet.html Buy it here: https://store.google.com/product/pixel_c Rather than release yet another Nexus device, usually budget devices that are manufactured by OEM's like LG, HTC, etc, Google opted to design a premium device, and it is certainly priced that way, at $499 USD for the 32gb Variant and $599 for the 64gb variant. Both variants are WiFi only, with no word on a LTE Variant. The device ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow The Tablet is equipped with a 1.414:1 Aspect ratio, 10.2" Screen with a resolution of 2560x1800. Under the hood, the tablet boasts an NVIDIA X1 SoC (HOLY SH*T), so it's fair to say now that the tab's hardware is equipped to handle about anything Android can throw at it. The NVIDIA Tegra X1 is an 8 core (four 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores with a Maxwell GPU). The tab also boasts 3gb of RAM. In typical Google fashion, there is no expandable storage. The Tablet does feature USB 3.1 type-C though. The only physical features on the tab other than the aluminium body are the aforementioned USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm Headphone jack, and 4 LED's on the back activated by a double tap. It displays the 4 Google Colors when on, and when tapped when the tab is off, display Battery levels. There are two optional keyboard attachments. A Magnetic keyboard, and a keyboard cover. https://store.google.com/product/pixel_c_keyboard https://store.google.com/product/pixel_c_folio_keyboard Personal Opinion: Wow! I'd much rather buy a top-tier Android device than a budget Windows one. This should be sufficient for note-taking in lectures and other tablet usage. I'll be ordering one for sure!
  8. Well, there are bound to be bad apples within the mix. Unfortunately, the safety of US Citizens needs to be placed before the safety of Refugees. We DO need to help, though. Let's buy and island, and fly supplies to them there.
  9. Exactly, wtf. This is not at all the way to do this. I hope OP isn't the creator.
  10. I guess you didn't read my whole reply... The 2nd Amendment is there to ensure that Citizens are able to defend themselves from, or overthrow and oppressive Gov. While things have improved now, many still think it necessary to own guns for self defense, hunting, or sporting reasons. If it did 'hypothetically' get that bad, I assume a large portion of the military wouldn't be supporting the Gov. There are a lot more people than military anyhow. How did the Colonists beat the British?
  11. I personally wouldn't buy one of these. I'm responsible, was raised around guns, and know how to secure and handle them properly. It seems adding another variable. I don't know the exact tech used to transmit the signal, but would it be possible to jam it? Modify it? I don't know. I DO believe though, that once the NJ Childproof Handgun Law of 2002 is repealed (stating that once smart guns are availible ANYWHERE in the US, that is the only type of gun allowed to be sold in NJ, which is wrong for a MULTITUDE of reasons including but not limited to: 2nd Amendment violations and interfering with the free market) that these will be AWESOME. Tons of fence sitters, that may not be familiar with firearms, will be be able to own a relatively idiot-proof gun.
  12. Most gun owners don't really need this. What we need is mandatory gun safety classes when buying a gun. Guns are already sold with trigger locks, people just need to be educated of the HOWS and WHYS of using them. This tech has existed for a decade or so now... The only reason that it isn't in every sporting goods/gun store in the US is a piece of New Jersey legislation that states that When smart guns are availible ANYWHERE in the US, that is the only type of gun allowed to be sold in NJ, which is why gun owners and lobbyists so aggressively attack shops that attempt to sell smart guns. NJ refuses to repeal the law, and no shops will sell Smart Guns in the US in fear of preventing NJ Residents from exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. I see that you're not from the US... We're not gun crazy, we're Rights crazy. The US Constitution was created just after extreme oppression by a government. It was designed to give the populace as much power over the Government as possible. The 2nd Amendment is there to ensure that Citizens are able to defend themselves from, or overthrow and oppressive Gov. While things have improved now, many still think it necessary to own guns for self defense, hunting, or sporting reasons.
