Humans still need some social interaction even if it is virtual type. But hey I live alone 7 years and did not have relationship/girlfriend for 8 years. I am happy I have lots of other things to do and to learn. But sometimes I just need someone to talk to.

It all depends what kind of experience you had during school. For me I hate school while university was okay. To tell truth I like working better because I am not bound by stupid rules and stupid curriculum so I can experiment and learn more.
