  1. 31.3 c is 88 f, you're either insane or don't have AC. Temp over ambient is just load - ambient, there really isn't a reason for that though unless you're doing a formal review in a non-standard room temperature
  2. If you updated just today, Steam is currently down. https://steamstat.us/ Edit: if you're unlucky like me, you'll get stuck with that rather than logging in as offline mode. I tried to log-out and back in rather than just dealing with offline mode until they fix it. so RIP us. It should be back soon.
  3. The performance monitor on the game bar shows GPU ram utilization, not GPU core utilization. You'll need to run this again with something else because will probably show the GPU much higher
  4. Is this for your phone, or your PC? some bluetooth headphones will work fine and great on a phone, but then on windows they have audio sync issues. Just something to keep an eye out for. I don't really have a suggestion I just wanted to let you know an issue I've had in the past with bluetooth audio and windows 10.
  5. It's normal, CPUs instantly draw more power when they need it so instant increases and decreases of temperature are normal there is no grace period of it slowly increasing(there are factors that can cause this like water cooling takes longer to reach equilibrium so temps will slowly increase for a time but generally this isn't the case), and if you aren't overclocking you will be fine with the stock cooler. So it just comes down to if you're ok with these temps, If not then go for one, if you're fine then don't worry about it.
  6. .......... You do realize, speedtest doesn't ping the GTA V session you're playing in? It pings the Closest Speedtest server. Which is probably hosted by your ISP, that needs little to no routing(which increases ping)
  7. unless you're playing inside the data-center, your ping isn't 1ms.
  8. Time of day and your ping can effect how many people you see. You can always just keep searching for a new session, but there are also just lots of people that don't do any of that with strangers, just friends.
  9. Haswell, DDR3, are going to hold it back compared to a 7700 and ddr4 with a 2060
  10. It's probably still valid for the most part. Are you looking for just an external HDD or more of a NAS type deal?

    Fan Hub

    * Speed control function is unavailable for 3 pin fans Says this on the specs page.
  12. Are you buying it new, or do you already have the 400W in a state where you can just try it? You won't hurt anything by seeing if you can load it to a point where it shuts off.
  13. Probably, might want to flush it before adding the new stuff, but you wont hurt anything running just distilled for a week or 2.
  14. If they work, just keep those.
  15. I've never had a good experience with this option. I know others have, but I've had bad luck lol.
  16. You don't NEED to, but it probably won't hurt if you don't, if they aren't updated just do that with the fresh/clean(?) install option and that's usually enough. If you have issues then you can fuck with the DDU process.
  17. You always have to screw the motherboard my dude ? Seriously though, you screw it into those Brass things protruding from the panel, they prevent the motherboard from shorting on the metal by holding it up a bit.
  18. You could try out Solus, I've run that on a laptop with no heating issues and decent battery life. Don't stick to just an idea of "the most stable" distro, try out a few to find out what works best with your hardware.
  19. This sounds more like a ram management issue and probably Samsung's end. This also might be one or more of the apps you're multi-tasking with not playing nice. I have an S9 sitting at 2.5GB idle, 1GB free and 514MB reserved and I'm not having any issues so it might be an app misbehaving?
  20. 100% good to go, I have a 7700k and a 2080Ti, granted I'm overclocked to 5.1Ghz, but usually bottlenecking right now is at 1080p
  21. ryzen 5 1600x, in his post history.
  22. CSGO smokes tank performance, and it's on the CPU side where this tanks, not GPU.
