    1 if they both offer the same price then.............. 2 we dont have a guarantee but we do have common sense. the reason devs are taking the current deals is money. if thats no longer an option ie both platforms charge the same then why risk loosing sales with an exclusivity deal? in fact when you think about it devs would be more likly to sign a deal with steam given there huge user base and "fan base" 3 straw man much. thats not what this is and you know it. he has not been secretly caught trying to price fix it was a tweet. this is not price fixing its him stating a fact. the fact that you have to strawman shows how weak your argument is.

    this thread = they dont need to promise shit, if your a dev and you have 2 platforms that charge the same which one do you put your game on? both. at this point the amount of money needed to secure exclusivity would be too much. id love to see this math of yours

    kinda feel like thsi is more an attack on apple, than news.......as many people have said 5g is 12 months, at the the very least , away form being mainstream if not 2 years. honestly i really dont care about 5g, everyone banged about 4g and i have found it to be meh really.

    your looking at it from a gamers point of view and i guess you could see it as monopolistic but from a publishers view they have choice. steam is the status quo and the only way to change that is to do something dramatic like exclusivity. people have seen the console exclusivity debacle and are now circle jerking to this epic crap without really thinking about it long term. its simply not the same as the console wars. my prediction, epic will continue to grab exclusives until steam drop there cut to 15%, at which point devs will want to launch on both platforms for maximum market penetration at that point deals will change to preorder exclusives and the like, people will still piss and moan because circle jerk but consumers will get the choice. in the mean time stop cutting your noses off to spite your faces. change will happen with or without you.

    well nice to see the typical tropes being rolled out, comparisons to nazis, 1984, "dangerous precident".........FML the video showed people, of all ages, being murdered and yet lets all panic at some sites being blocked. like it or not the internet needs to be regulated, how that happens i have no clue but you can not have safe havens for criminals and terrorists to do their business with impunity. "....but but but where does it end......" i think we all know that it ends when the people stop voting for people that allow it.

    my first system was a c64 though i never said i was a pc gamer. c64 > mega drive > ps1 > ps2 > xbox 360 > pc im not shilling for there deals im just not as outraged as half the snowflakes here. its really simple like or not epic brings competition to the market. you may not have a choice but devs do and that alone is already shaking up steam. once steam drop there cut, and the will, then the exclusives will stop and the real fun and games begin.
