I've been having an issue with either my graphics card or motherboard where the AMD graphics driver would crash in the middle of a game. Depending on the game, this can be from 2 minutes until it crashes in the case of Forza Horizon 3 to an hour and a half in the case of Half-Life 2 and Rainbow 6 Siege. This only occurs in games and doesn't seem to affect mining applications and furmark.
The event viewer says this after a crash:
(Warning) Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
(Information) File System Filter 'BEDaisy' (Version 10.0, 2017-11-07T18:53:13.000000000Z) unloaded successfully.
(Error) The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160} and APPID {9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276} to the user JOEY-PC\JoeyB SID (S-1-5-21-3910841751-2885842264-1651783002-1002) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.
I believe that this is a motherboard issue because I've had similar crashes with faulty PCIe ribbon cables in the past and I didn't have this issue on my H97m Pro 4, but I would like a second opinion before I go RMA the board.
