An idea popped to my head, and this what came out!

It should be fine man, the vendor list is so outdated its not even funny. 

Building your PC is the ONLY way to go IMO. :)

I think most of us do it because it's fun and very rewarding; not because of the price.

When my parents bough a pre built system i found that the specs were good but certain parts of the system were very cheap, for example the motherboard and the case, the motherboard was cheap and had no room for upgrading your system like an SSD or good graphics card and the case was made from cheap plastic.

It's not about being cheap or not, in most cases it's more expensive. People build their own PCs cos they like having the freedom of choosing their own components.

DIY PCs are also much easier to upgrade. Besides the fact that you can make sure you buy a power supply with extra wattage, for example, you also know every component that went into the computer. It is also partly aesthetics. When you build your own system the cases are better, you can build with a color scheme in mind, etc. And you get geek cred.

With pre-built if you want to upgrade then you might be limited. Also you would exactly know all the parts in it, such as the the Mobo. With your own PC you have full access to everything in your PC and the satisfaction you built it yourself :)

You may find a pre-built machine cheaper than building your own, but it's all about tinkering. Being able to do whatever you want with your machine(OCing for instance) and having your machine EXACTLY the way you want it. Also, if you look around, you should be able to find parts cheaper in certain stores than others.

Think of it as a road.
 
I'll give you an example:
Lets say you have a 1 lane road. The represents a 1 core CPU.
The 1 core CPU wil have "traffic" since it's only 1 core, but you're putting a lot of stress on it. This will spend more time doing a process.
Now lets say you have a 2 lane road. This road will have less traffic, because each core is able to organize the work, making less stress, and less time spent to finish.

So more cores = Better CPU multitasking?

It's like saying why people prefer AMD over Intel. Or AMD over nVidia.
People have their preferences. Some like Linux because of the terminal usage, some like Mac OS 'cause it's simple, and some like Windows because, well, it's a mix of the two.
I personally prefer Windows 7.
I've tried Windows 8, I didn't feel like it was for non-touch devices.

So developers relationships is the difference like "TWIMTBP" nvidia Cuda/Stream Processors or "Neversettle" AMD Stream Processors

No they renamed stream processor and called it Cuda LOL welcome to marketing.

Yep. NVIDIA basically just recoded how their cores function.

Both are shader cores. They are essentially the same thing. Their only difference is how each individual core performs. Kind of like the difference between Intel and AMD CPU cores.

They both are Stream prossesors but in nvidia's wisdom they tried to reinvent the wheel again and be different like Apple.

Marketing that's the difference.

Top Tip: Ditch Windows 8.
