  1. The screen and form factor it's fairly average sized thickness wise but the screen is very good looking for a notebook.
  2. The rear mounted buttons seem like the sanest solution to a fairly annoying thing, the screen seems nice too
  3. I'm not looking to overclock I just want good single/dual threaded performance and good reliability and stability
  4. I went with the MSI mobo for the aesthetics but thanks for the suggestion
  5. I'm not looking to overclock this (maybe set the boost clock as a constant on the Intel) for simple stability terms and stuff will be predominately single or dual threaded work load from what I've seen so far on this pile of $%!*
  6. Hey I'm upgrading my CPU and motherboard as my AMD Athlon x4 is on the ragedy edge with and overclock for it to keep up with my needs. I either have the choice of the 2 CPUs in the thread title (intel http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3totJ) (amd http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/mgQz) I need to know which one will be faster for gaming, GCSE school level computing and maybe some video/photo work. I know he AMD has more cores and is faster in tasks that utilize 8 threads but not many do and the Intel is outright faster in single threaded tasks. So it's between these two or any other suggestions you may have (have to adhere to a 200 quid budget please )
