Ahhh a lease. You might actually be in a better financial position if you purchase it instead of lease it. Costs more a month, but you spend less over all.

yes but after 5 or 6 years here in Quebec with the winters that we have they get pretty beat up...so it's nice to get a new one every 4½ years too 😛

      and i need a very reliable car...100%

Also this one basicaly can drive itself on the freeway...it has all the safety sense features:

      Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™)

Applies brake pressure when an unavoidable collision is determined

      Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)

Adjusts steering and braking if you cross detected lanes without signaling

      Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

Maintains a set following interval behind detected vehicles

      Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)

Adjusts steering to help you keep centered in a detected lane

      Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)

Can notify drivers of posted speed limits with the use of a small camera

      Honda LaneWatch™

With Honda LaneWatch™, any time you signal right, the camera on the passenger-side mirror will turn on and display live video on your Display Audio Touch-Screen, revealing nearly four times more than the average passenger-side mirror.

      Blind Spot Information System

When your turn signal is on and a vehicle is detected in an adjacent lane, the indicator blinks and a beep sounds until the area is clear or the turn signal is off.

      Cross Traffic Monitor

When in reverse with the Multi-Angle Rearview Camera in any viewing mode, the driver is alerted to a detected vehicle approaching from the side with a series of beeps and indicators shown on the camera’s display.

Basicaly this car is really easy to travel in and live with and if you crash this car you're basicaly and idiot...🤣

  4. Today i fixed Phanteks mistake on what is otherwise an awesome case...finally it can breath!

The dust filter is magnetic and thus you can pick it and wash it. I also went with red corsair SP120 to make it shine...

    it looks and works great!

Nice! Weren't the original swappable mesh fronts available in Canada?
      https://www.phanteksusa.com/products/phanteks-eclipse-p400a-air-mesh-front-panel?variant=30590989205559

This front layout in the P400 that I had was a pain for me for a long time, then I discovered that it's only an issue when you have a front 240/280mm AIO installed, sadly it's the only place for one of those in the P400.

I solved my problem in a different way ? Simply bought the O-11:

and place my order and make it go through: took 5 attempts...but it's downloading now :)

I think it's worth the hasle to get the game directly from the developer in this case though.they do awesome games it's worht it.

  6. If you watch this video in full screen 1080p 60PFS you still can't get what Racing in VR really is like...but this is the best i can do:

Imagine all that but in full 3d and real life scale...just like you would see it in real life through ski googles with stunning 3d modelling.

  7. Can't wait for this one:

      Agreed, it looks freaking incredible.

  8. My Rift S review after using it for about 6 hours tonight...

The screen is MUCH cleaner and sharper than rift CV1 or Vive...also better than samsung odyssey + in terms of clarity...LCD screen look noticeably sharper than pentile oled

screens...The lenses are also much improved, no more god rays and much larger sweet spot.

Nice upgrade for racing sims and most games actually...BUT...the tracking doesnt work too well at times in FPS shooter games like onward and pavlov for example...in fact this is a big minus IMHO. A rift with 3 sensors tracked better.

Nice build quality, more comfortable headset i tried...very balanced but the very soft foam facial interface they chose makes me sweat and i don't like it...i'll need to upgrade

it to something better...it's too soft and swoochy.

80hz feels nice i don't feel any difference from the pervious 90HZ and it turns out it's easier to hold a steady 80FPS than 90FPS so you can still use supersampling and high details and make the images super sharp and detailed...at a higher resolution.

CV1 to Rift S i would say feel like going from a 1080p to a 1440p monitor in a way, but all around you the whole world look sharper and nicer...it's amazing.

it's worth EVERY penny though, especially if you don't already have your VR setup you'll have an absolute blast with this, it's awesome overall...I highly recommend.

    1. TheSLSAMG

      TheSLSAMG

As a CV1 owner, there are a couple of things I don't like about the Rift S.

The lack of hardware-adjustable IPD is pretty bad considering Palmer Luckey himself can't even use the Rift S. I personally have to have the IPD maxed out to 70mm for my image to be clear (probably in part due to me having a big head). It's a tough situation given I'm probably outside the 70% of people within tolerance for the Rift S' 64mm IPD along with software adjustments.

Internal tracking has also always seemed like a cheaper solution to the issue. Windows MR headsets didn't do it particularly well, and based upon what you've said, it doesn't seem like the Rift S is doing it much better.

At least the CV1 Sensors are cheap compared to the $135 Vive Lighthouses (I didn't actually know how much they costed until just now, and I'm shocked.) I know you only need half as many Lighthouses as you would typically need CV1 Sensors, but two Rift sensors are still $15 cheaper than a Lighthouse.

    2. i_build_nanosuits

      i_build_nanosuits

      @TheSLSAMG

Well as far as IPD is concerned i measure at 58mm and i'm fine with the rift S, no problem getting it in focus. No eye strain or anything...it's all fine, the sweetspot is very large so it's fine.
BUT, from what i've read IPD of 70mm and up have more issues then lower IPD person.

Inside out tracking, yes it could be better but it's still very useable overall...that said i can now only imagine how bad it can be with WMR headset and only 2 of these cheap cameras...Onward devs have said they are working on an update that will help resolve the issue when aiming down sight...we'll see, maybe oculus can also improve things in software.

That said it's cool that the setup now only use 1 USB port where previously it was using 4 USB 3.0 (ouch) so i had to constantly unplug stuff to do room scale VR (having to unplug my logitech wheel and gamepad controler for example to plug in the other sensors, it gets old quick)

I also like the new touch controler better, the plastic they used is of better quality.

Also, the reason i love oculus is the software, most games in steam when you right click have the option to ''Launch in Oculus VR mode'' and when you do they ALL run better...sometimes much much better.

  9. This is REALLY tempting...such a nice card this one is worth over 1800$CAD with shipping easily...and i'm not even sure i could get one this is a special EK edition or something...

  10. 369$CAD for GTX 980ti performance...i paid 850$CAD for my 980ti 2 years ago and it was a dual 8 pin monster of a graphics card...3 fans with a thick cooler and still it was running hot and loud!!

  11. Running Metro Exodus at 1440p Ultra settings...it's so smooth on the Gsync monitor no youtube videos can make justice to how crisp, smooth and fast all this looks in real time rendering:

And the VERY PUNISHING benchmark....i recorded at 1080p 30FPS for this one because Shadowplay at max is eating ressources.

This benchmark is unrealistic vs. how the game actually runs...i'm a fair bit further in the game now...in the open world, and the FPS never dip bellow 70...

  12. Battlefield 5 running the new Coop mode...use over 12GB of system memory at 1440p max settings ?

  14. New PC, new video, 8700K 1080ti running Assassin's creed Odysey 1440p...

    ...And 4770K/Battlefield 5/1080ti/Ultra (at 2:55)

BF5 Multiplayer and AC:O runs MUCH better on a 6c/12t overclocked CPU.

1440p native recording with shadowplay = -5 FPS

The video doesnt make visuals justice, on the monitor it's buttery smooth and crazy sharp...in the youtube video it's stuttery and blury..Battlefield 5 wasn't running great on 4770K...now it does...Bf5 video next.

wow man that's amazing :) the monitor is REALLY nice...Freesync 2 has a wide range of vairable refresh with low frame compensation i think right? so it's should basically perform exactly the same as a Gsync monitor...i'm sure you'll love it...how smooth it'll be and everything :)

      Congrats!

Those LED on the monitor looks amazing as well...i really love how it looks...mine looks like a normal monitor...this one you'll get looks MUCH better!!

1ms too it's stupid fast...how they get such a nice display IPS with 1ms GtG is amazing...mine is from the time when all the high refresh IPS screen were 4ms...amazing bro! HDR and everything...it'll look even better than mine i'm sure...i'm jealous p:

Mine also come from the generation where they only had a display port at the back...so if something goes bad with my Gsync module my monitor is useless...your's could still do with HDMI...

It's my CPU...8700K this one can do 5.1ghz stable with ''only'' 1.32v

5.0ghz with 1.28v and the setting i use is 4.8ghz with only 1.2v that way it's stays cool and quiet!

Long live sandy bridge (At least I know overclocked it trades blow with a ryzen 1600) on single thread

I'm probably leaning towards 8700K myself (Still waiting on RAM prices to do down) because I need a system with very high single thread for some software.

  21. Tempting but questionable (maybe) ''upgrade''?

From 4770K 4.3ghz and 16GB DDR3 1866mhz to this kit? considering newer demanding games loves the cores and i think battlefield 5 multiplayer will bring my 4770K to it's knees with the 1080ti...i can probably sell the haswell i7 kit for 300$ quick sell with the ram and motherboard making this a 250$ upgrade...i gain nothing in single threaded performance but i get twice the multi threaded performance... ?

One thing if I may - this motherboard's VRM are not great, especially if you want to overclock. I did a build with this motherboard paired with an R5 1600 and a 6-core would be the top CPU I'd use with it ;)
I know it's a bit more but the cheapest I'd go with that combo would be this board based on Canadian prices right now: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/gMQG3C/gigabyte-b450-aorus-elite-atx-AM4-motherboard-b450-aorus-elite

@i_build_nanosuits A better comparison would be when they started using rasterization compared to the older method of rendering, and the price increase that generation of cards saw. Comparing last gen to what we have now just doesn't make much sense, as they're trying to push completely new architecture. Which will, of course, come at additional cost, as well as the increased cost of memory. You're basically paying the same amount of money for similar performance with the 2080, and if you want more performance than that, you can pay more. They're top tier cards. It's unfortunate, but sometimes there's a cost for trying to push technology forward.

@-rascal- They make cheaper cards. Either way they're getting their money, so they don't really care what you're buying. Especially since they have way too many last gen cores anyway. Of course nothing supports it, it's still relatively new. There's always an early adopter tax. These are all things people should have been expecting.

    3. i_build_nanosuits

      i_build_nanosuits

@dizmoi think they could have got some raytracing action going on, but honestly i think it will hurt them even more...seing a top tier 1200$US+ card drop in the 45 to 50FPS range at 1080p is not going to help them sell more cards.

    4. dizmo

      dizmo

Yeah, but to expect excellence in the first release of a new technology is asking a little much. It's a completely different way to render a game. Give it time.

  23. So watched all the reviews...here's what'up!

    RTX 2080 = GTX 1080ti FE

    GTX 1080ti non FE > RTX 2080

RTX 2080 = GTX 1170 in performance, for GTX 1080ti money

RTX 2080ti =  GTX 1180 in performance, for Titan X money

    way to go nivida!

Found a way to launch mid-range level performance, for enthuiasts grade pricing.

Yikes, that superposition score is only 13% faster than my 1080 Ti...even when you take into account that I bought it at inflated prices during the crypto era at $850 it still beats the shit outta the 2080 Ti on a value basis xD
