Damn, forgot to check that. What's the max height you can get? How much clearance is there for the power connector? Maybe a right angled adapter will make it work. https://www.moddiy.com/products/6%2dPin-Graphics-Card-PCIe-Male-Header-Connector-%2d-90%-Angled-%2d-Black.html P.S. I have read over this thread dozens of times, but I fail to remember what the dimensions are for the finished project.
-
Sorry to necro this thread once again. But as you may have seen the GTX 1070 Mini ITX OC from Gigabyte would fit in this machine, and has a TDP of only 150W. Perfectly meets requirements stated above.
-
Maybe we'll get ITX versions of the new 1070 cards. Let's hope it doesn't run too hot
-
What an awesome machine, something similar to this is now on my to build list. I saw the title of this thread minus the LS3 part and I immediately went: "Isn't that the same as an LS3 engine". Then I noticed that's actually the builds name. Anyway, I'll be following this closely, would love to see the Xeon upgrade.

Dark CPU: Intel Core i7 5930K @4.0 GHz. GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 780Ti @stock. RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 4 4x4GB 2400 MHz @ 2133 Mhz. (I should probably fix that.) Score: 5.3 (Medium) -
I'd love to win a Roccat Kova, since I was planning on buying one anyway. It'll fit my custom mechanical keyboard perfectly, which recently got an upgrade to dark grey blank thick PBT keycaps. From videos I've seen the dark grey finish on the Kova is nearly identical in colour. And let's be honest here, the new Kova is the sexiest mouse out there right now.

I'd build this for my dad, he needs a new computer, but won't give me a budget to start building with, so having half of the build at 0 cost would definitely get him to appreciate it.

That headset looks sweet with the wood earcups. Also +1 for the amazing blacked out keys on the Autore.

I'm in! Replacing my dads ultra-slow rig with it.
-
Well, first I'd get the 5930K out of my system, then bench the 5820K and finally build a system with it to replace my dad's Celeron system.
-
In the end, it was my RAM. It was nog seated correctly. Unbelievable two different PC companies missed that
-
Nope, they look like that in any situation. My 230T came with those Corsair LED fans installed
-
Everything is connected properly. Only one screen was on it at a time. I had a computer service company check it out and they say it is either the motherboard or the CPU. But because they don't stock parts on this high-end spectrum of PCs they couldn't test it further
-
My board doesn't have that.I just noticed that after about 10 seconds of running, the clear CMOS button on the back I/O lights up blue. B.t.w. switching PCI slots didn't help.
